As a female do you have the courage to walk alone in the dark?

I have done so but rarely. It has always terrified me. What if i akways think to myself..

To be honest, I feel somehow less vulnerable walking at night than I do locked in a taxi or Uber with a strange man. Probably not rational but it’s how I feel.

Same. I don’t like late night taxis on my own at all.

Depends on the time of day. Anything before 9pm yes as I walk main roads and there is normally a decent amount of people around. But I do tell DH when I leave the train so he knows when to expect me.

Any later and I take a different train and then a bus or a cab.

Awful a lot of us on this thread feel unsafe. I remembered also feeling i was being followed from the tube late one evening too.
