Anyone else just having a really shit day ?

I can't even be arsed to go into why I'm having a really shit day but it includes an extremely poor excuse for a 'd'h and wonderful set of colleagues who have just pointed out the obvious and confirmed what I've known for a longtime , hearing it out loud has knocked me about a bit so I'm having a pity party on my own and wondering how I've ended up here after seemingly having it all .

Anyway , I know I can't sit here for long , I need to start making a plan but for tonight it's what I'm going to do .

Anyone available to Cheer me up please ? Crap jokes , strong woman mantras, general shite chitchat etc .. my thoughts are hurting my head and my anxiety is through the roof , distract me please Smile

Am seriously contemplating switching teams Wink surely women are not that much of an arsewipe

I'm having a pretty shit day, won't go into details as it's outing, but am enjoying the wine and raising a glass to all women who are worth so much more than the shite we have to put up with. 🍷🍷🍷

I could join you OP. We’ve had a day of PCRs and trips to a&e. Shitty shitty shitty. Tonight I drank G&Ts and watched Serial Killer stuff on tv.

@stickytreacle here here . And the saddest thing is.... I joined this forum today and this is the most conversation I've had outside my marriage for the last 7 years... if I made a friend the c#nt shagged them to put a end to that!! Sad isn't it!

Yea. Same here and a couple of my friends too.

Must be something in the air.

We have another day of knowing DH's tumours have grown but not knowing what the plan is. We are coming up to a year since he had his Whipple's (half of his insides removed to try to beat the cancer) which means it is a year since we discovered it was done too late (thanks covid) as it had already spread. He has already passed the six months he was given but, in reality, I know we don't have that much longer. I would love to get to our first wedding anniversary next May.

bloodywhitecat There aren't any words that will make your situation less shit, but I hope with all my heart that you manage to get to your anniversary, and that he is as pain free as possible. We're all behind you 💐
