I ate too many muller yoghurts, now I never want to see one again!

Lemon curd 🤮 used to love lemon tarts, then had the genius idea of having lemon curd on toast. Made me feel SO sick, haven’t eaten it since.

OhWhyNot · 15/09/2021 22:54

I was working abroad and would eat loads of it. One day i was really ill after

Can’t eat it now

VictoriaBun · 15/09/2021 22:58

Things I used to say but the thought turns my stomach now :

VictoriaBun · 15/09/2021 22:59

Oops pressed too early !
Stilton Cheese
Crisps
Smoked Salmon

xprincessxjanetx · 15/09/2021 22:59

Takeaways...just not keen on them anymore. Occasionally I get a wanting for one and I am always really disappointed after and regretful that I have wasted money on something that has made me feel rubbish and didn't enjoy very much.

VictoriaBun · 15/09/2021 22:59

Ffs eat !

Davros · 15/09/2021 23:01

Southern Comfort. One binge as a teenager, never again

madkittylady · 15/09/2021 23:04

@Leah2005 sandwich spread is still a thing 🤮 What actually is it though?

Luckyelephant1 · 15/09/2021 23:06

Red bull. Not that I ever drank them for energy, but vodka red bull used to be the binge drink of choice on uni nights out for some reason. Now if I even get a whiff of it my stomach turns. Same with cheap white wine actually.

Talkwhilstyouwalk · 15/09/2021 23:07

Those red Lindt balls.

Drinking as opposed to eating but Peach schnapps - totally overdid it as a teenager and have not been able to go near it since.

MistySkiesAfterRain · 16/09/2021 00:40

Hula Hoops.

MistySkiesAfterRain · 16/09/2021 00:44

Oh yes forgot Krispy Kreme donuts.

Someone bought them in for work for a staff meeting. I don't know what I was thinking but I ate two.

That night I came down with what was like the noravirus. I suspect it was my body going absolutely no way am I digesting this amount of sugary cream cheese and dough.

ISpyCobraKai · 16/09/2021 00:47

I've only had a Krispy Kreme once.
I sort of enjoyed it as a one off whilst knowing it was a bit like eating a concoction of sugar and lard

Rainbow0821 · 16/09/2021 04:22

Carrot and coriander soup

merrymelody · 16/09/2021 04:34

IKEA meatballs

GeorgiaGirl52 · 16/09/2021 04:37

Scallops in garlic butter - think one of them was spoiled. Had a bout of food poisoning. Never eaten them since.

TheAirbender · 16/09/2021 04:42

Sushi. I used to love it but weirdly since sorting out some mental health issues my tastes have changed and now I don’t even like looking at it!

HeronLanyon · 16/09/2021 04:49

Halloumi. Am now only hungry for it maybe twice a year.
Any kind of kettle or hand cooked chips. They just have awful oily taste - not good oil.
Pringles.
Most pestos. Maybe once a year I’ll enjoy it.
Very blue cheese - this is love hate situation depending on who knows what.

Dillydollydingdong · 16/09/2021 05:24

Marzipan. My sister and I ate a block of marzipan that we found in the cupboard and made ourselves sick. I've never been able to eat it since.

Joystir59 · 16/09/2021 05:48

Pumpkin seeds

Leah2005 · 16/09/2021 16:09

@madkittylady I had to Google it to check - it's salad cream so a bit tangy with tiny pieces of carrot etc in it. Bit like cat sick GrinEnvy not envy

twointhemorning · 16/09/2021 18:11

I was put off eating any type of pizza after a vomiting episode (virus, not drink related); just the smell made me heave. I can manage it now though.

Houmous - had it in sandwiches for years, no desire to eat it ever again.

There's lots food that I feel I've just grown out of.

freelions · 16/09/2021 18:14

Croissants - went to France when I was about 14 and we had then for breakfast every day for a fortnight

It really put me off and I didn't eat one again til a couple of years ago (well into my 40s!). I'm still not a fan but can eat one if it's the only thing available.
