I ate too many muller yoghurts, now I never want to see one again!

Most soup, after having wisdom teeth out years ago. I don't mind it once in a while but generally, no.

Stroller15 · 15/09/2021 21:49

Dutch stroopwafels. I was delayed at Schipol Airport and ate about 5 of the things. By the time I got back to the UK, I had an insulin crash. Felt horrible and dramatically thought I was going to die. Never ate one again.

Hoolihan · 15/09/2021 21:50

Halloumi, so bloody bored of it now. In Italy a couple of years ago I ate a whole pot of aioli and it repeated on me for three whole days, the thought of eating it again makes me feel so sick. And I used to really love it so I'm a bit gutted!

PurpleDaisies · 15/09/2021 21:51

Sweet potatoes.

I can eat them again now (rarely!) but it took a long time.

ISpyCobraKai · 15/09/2021 21:55

Salmon, ordinary, not smoked.
I ate it so much last summer that I really ended up going off it and haven't touched it since.
I think I might be ready to try it again though.

ISpyCobraKai · 15/09/2021 21:58

@Hoolihan
A few weeks ago I ate cucumber without peeling or removing the seeds thinking it'd be fine.
Two days of cucumbery vomit burps reminded me of why I always peel and de-seed it

3 years ago I had to do the liver diet for a gastric operation (I was 6 stone heavier back then so had a fatty liver that needed to be shrunk in order for them to be able to operate). This literally consisted of sugar free jelly and muller light yoghurt, with only clear fluids (no milk in coffee, water, squash, bovril that kind of thing). It lasted 2 weeks and was utterly miserable! I haven't had a yoghurt or jelly since, can't even stomach the thought

MintyGreenDream · 15/09/2021 22:00

Asparagus.I did the Cambridge diet years ago and ate a lot of it.Cant face it now.

MintyGreenDream · 15/09/2021 22:02

@FridaFever it's gorgeous with strips of toasted pitta dipped I.

Peregrina · 15/09/2021 22:03

One summer as a student I worked in a bakery where they did really tasty Cornish pasties. I had one every day for my lunch for about 8 weeks. I couldn't eat one for years after that.

I can now because that's 50 years ago, but once in a while is OK, not every day, week after week.

CorpusCallosum · 15/09/2021 22:06

Thornton's Viennese truffles.

Overdosed as a child still can't face them 25 years later 🤢

InnPain · 15/09/2021 22:09

Puking in my mouth just typing this but coconut mushroom sweets when I was a kid. Till this day I swerve them if I ever see them in a shop, even walking by them gives me the heebyjeebies 🤢

Leah2005 · 15/09/2021 22:11

Sandwich spread. That stuff in a jar. I can't even really remember what it tasted like and haven't eaten it for about 40 years but I feel sick thinking about it. Is it even produced these days?

schnubbins · 15/09/2021 22:12

Granny Smith apples as a teenager .I ate so many of them i haven't touched one in about 30 years .I also worked in a Doughnut Cafe as a teenager and have not eaten a doughnut since.

Greytminds · 15/09/2021 22:12

@thisplaceisapigsty

Cottage cheese when I was a dieting teen (not much choice in those far off days). I tried it again recently and couldn't get past the first mouthful.
Snap. Won’t get me anywhere the stuff now.

Also, courgettes. Although I’m sure I’ll recover in time to grow a shitload more next year!

SpikeDearheart · 15/09/2021 22:14

Avocado, used to love it but ate lots while low carbing a few years ago and now can't face it.
Pork scratchings, after a particularly epic beer festival as a student.

KezzabellaB · 15/09/2021 22:15

Sushi. I used to love the stuff til I was really sick once after eating some. I don't know if it was the sushi that was bad or whether it was a bug and a coincidence, but Holy crap I went totally off it and still can't stomach it now. Up until quite recently I used to have to even walk right out of my way so I don't have to walk past Yo Sushi in my local mall, and the smell of soy sauce still makes me gip! 🤮🤮🤮🤮

DesertSky · 15/09/2021 22:23

Scampi Knick knacks which I craved in my first pregnancy (bleeurghh)

Ididanamechange · 15/09/2021 22:23

Tuna salad. Had it every day for lunch at work when I was on a diet and now just the thought of it turns my stomach

Candleabra · 15/09/2021 22:24

Tropical fruit. Similar to the poster above I was violently sick not long after eating loads but not sure if a coincidence and just a bug. Never eaten that kind of fruit since.

OnlySpam · 15/09/2021 22:29

Vegetarian sushi. Just can't eat it now

bizboz · 15/09/2021 22:31

Jelly babies

Antinerak · 15/09/2021 22:38

Tortillas. Went through a terrible phase of nausea and all I could stomach were dry tortillas.
Halloumi has got to me too, had it too often and now it has a very distinct off putting taste.

Pearbear · 15/09/2021 22:40

Cottage cheese, ate it while dieting every day for lunch for months on end. Then one day I thought it looked like milky baby vomit and that was the end of cottage cheese for lunch.

moanyhole · 15/09/2021 22:49

Skittles. A5e 3 bags in a row when about 12. Threw up everywhere. 40 odd years on I still get a wave of nausea when I see a packet.
My mother used to make us eat a.lot of omelette and kidneys, liver. The mere thought of them turns my stomach now
