Looking for CORDED vacuum recommendations

And I don't want a Dyson either.

So tempted just to go with a Henry, maybe even a wet and dry Henry.
I liked the idea of a Miele but upon reading they are better on hard surfaces and I have a fair amount of wool carpets in our house.

So hit me with your corded vacuum recommendations please :)

Henry. Bought one as we were doing loads of sanding and it is awesome. Doesn’t lose suction, is incredibly powerful. Far better than any other vacuum we’ve bought (all corded).

But it’s definitely not pretty!

I was short of cash when my Dyson broke and ordered a £20 mini bagless thing from Amazon, thinking it would keep me going for a few months. Looks like a handheld with a big stick like nozzle.

I absolutely love it and it's lasted over three years now Grin

I have a cylinder Miele, it’s twenty years old and is still great. It’s easily outlived my daughter’s four vacuum cleaners over the same time span. Two of which were Dyson 👎👎👎

Miele C3 Cat and Dog comes with two heads, one for wood/tile and one for carpets. Can't recommend highly enough.

Shark lift away. I was horrified and amazed the first time I used it and saw how quickly it filled up. I'm a cleaner and I love taking my Shark with me to new houses and watching it fill up with dust. It's very satisfying Grin.

Oh I had one of these! Loved it until the day it died. Amazing for the price.

OP, I’ve got a Shark Pet liftaway thing and it’s bloody brilliant.

DotBall · 04/09/2021 16:53

Shark Pet Liftaway here too. I have two and they are fantastic.
The filters are dead easy to clean and dry by the following day.

I loved our miele cat and dog. Recently swapped it for a cordless shark which isn't quite as good.

Horehound · 04/09/2021 22:17

I think all cordless are just not as powerful as corded unless you get the top end Dyson which I'm deffo not doing

That looks like mine.

Sebo alllllll the way! They are the crem de la crem of vacuums.

I have a cordless Dyson for everyday and use my sebo once a week and for deep cleans. It's unreal how new my carpets look when I use the sebo.

SoosanCarter · 05/09/2021 01:50

Sebo Felix.
