After years of dog ownership

After years of owning dogs I've realised I am NOT a dog person.

The only dog I've bonded with is this one and I've always wondered why I've never bonded with the dogs before him

After a lot of soul searching I've realised alot of my depression and anxiety is triggered by dog ownership.

After this one I'm not having another.

Not sure why I'm posting this but feel better writing it down.

They are a lot of work but I see owning a dog as my hobby. I love that he’s my shadow and wants to sit close all the time and I enjoy our walks everyday, I don’t see them as a chore. My 3 year old DS on the other hand is very hard work and I feel far more restricted with him I will definitely only stick with one child but I can’t ever imagine my life without a dog by my side.
