Night owls, why are you awake (2.30am?)

I'm feeling very anxious tonight with my emetophobia unfortunately (fear of vomiting).

Have a bit of stomach pain but I'm due on my period in a week so trying to be rational that it could come early or be gas etc.

Really worked myself up, going to have to go in the living room soon if it's not better as I'll wake my partner up Blush

I also have an essay to finish this weekend so that's stressing me out too. Sad

What's keeping you awake?

Sat on the floor with DD2 asleep on me after she's been up vomiting on and off since 1am. Running out of clean sheets and blankets. First vomiting bug we've had and it's awful and I don't really know what to do as she's so upset and keeps pushing away a bowl to catch it in (although she's mostly dry heaving now as nothing left to throw up!)

I'm awake early as I have a day off and a night out planned - so I see my day going thus - doing silly diy five min jobs ( a few of them ) and cleaning ( lots of it) - cooking a fab pudding to take out tonight to pals house . Getting ready ... falling asleep before I get out of the front door and then waking tomorrow at 4am to wonder what happen... maybe I should factor in a daytime nap !

Hope everything goes well for everyone !

@NothingIsWrong

You just have to make baby steps and get into the right headspace you could loose that in a year easily have you thought about using a coach . I have one and she sends me a diet to follow and a work out to follow abd she’s there to check up on me if I don’t do it ! She’s so lovely x

I haven't - I have a husband and 3 kids to feed as well and I just am so overwhelmed with where to start. I even tried doing an exercise YouTube this morning and managed 4min before I was too knackered to continue.

It was a 12 week programme, but I started on the 4 week intro for beginners and I couldn't even manage day 1 of the beginners intro. How pathetic is that

@fattymumbum thanks, I'll give it a go Smile

If you quit after four mins it was too much for you . 4 mins is a start you need a coach . They are your accountability partner they fit your diet in around your life and they support you . I use a lady called jade fit mom on Instagram. You get added to a what’s app group and you get all the support off all the ladies too . You will always find a reason not to do it you just have to do it . It’s not even that much about exercising it’s calories in and calories out . Have you tried using MyFitnessPal? X

@fattymumbum I really felt like waking him last night. I sent him a few texts telling him he wasn't doing enough when I heard him come up at half 1 ish. He hasn't mentioned it so don't know if he's seen it. He brought breakfast for me this morning. Texting also probably not the best way.

I did something similar to what you are saying last night. Baby does a fussy feeding hour which a lot of babies seem to do where they feed but cry as well. Usually a certain time and I have told DH this. He makes dinner for us but faffs around and had to sit and relax for an hour before he makes dinner so dinner is always ready at this time when baby is fussy or after when I'm getting him ready for bed. I was annoyed with him for not taking this into account (I'm grateful for him making dinner but it's his only job in the house) so rather than be annoyed with him I acted like I couldn't cope with DS acting this way and eat my dinner so I just won't be eating now. DH then took the baby and it disturbed him trying to eat his dinner...

Hope your dd is better @Jxtina86

Thank you. She hasn't been sick since 5am but we are still in pjs and laying on the sofa having a cuddle and watching Disney films (in between putting more washing on!)
