What’s a weird/unusual but ultimately pointless, mundane fact about yourself?

Mine is that I always end up sleeping with my head at the foot of the bed. Don’t know how I end up there or why I do it. Partner never notices me performing backflips either!

@FrangipaniBlue yes. Not even close to succeeding!

LadyJaye · 23/08/2021 23:14

My spatial awareness is my superpower.

I can reverse park into ANY space, no matter the car I'm driving, I can gauge the size of a container required to hold something to the mm/ml by eye alone and I can fit more stuff into a tiny space than the laws of physics allow. I can also weigh stuff by hand.

Niche, but useful.

Oh, and I also have toefingers.

catfunk · 23/08/2021 23:14

@ClumpingBambooIsALie

I have two ordinary nipples, two accessory nipples, and two tiny patches of hair that would've been nipples given half a chance.
Male or female ?
TheChosenTwo · 23/08/2021 23:14

@Mybalconyiscracking what?! You invented them? Or physically produced them from the recipe first? What?!

catfunk · 23/08/2021 23:15

I'm immune to CS gas but chewing gum makes me sneeze

ClumpingBambooIsALie · 23/08/2021 23:16

catfunk Female, why?

TheLovelinessOfDemons · 23/08/2021 23:17

@Snugglepumpkin

If I have the hiccups & I say the words "I have the hiccups" aloud they stop instantly even if nobody is there to hear me say it. If I don't say it, they just keep on going until I get tired of waiting for them to stop & I say the words.

This has worked for me every single time I've ever had the hiccups (which I don't get often to be fair) since I was a young child & has never ever worked for anyone else I've ever met so is of no use to anyone else in the world except for me.

DD's going to try this the next time she has hiccups.
Sparklingbrook · 23/08/2021 23:19

I was scheduled to have all 4 wisdom teeth out but weirdly they could only find 3. I often wonder where the rogue one went. Surely they did an XRay first? 🤷‍♀️

ClumpingBambooIsALie · 23/08/2021 23:20

My dad has extra nipples too, as did his mum, so I think to some extent it's hereditary. Though in my dad's case, there's no way to tell if he has polythelia pilosa (the almost-nipple hair-patches) as well, cause he's gorilla levels of hairy anyway…

@Mybalconyiscracking

I was the first woman ever to make Marmite and the first woman ever to make Horlicks. This is incredibly outing, but I make a point of changing my name on here all the time so probably doesn’t matter!
That would make you at least 148 @Mybalconyiscracking.
MrsPumpkinSeed · 23/08/2021 23:24

I can't open my hand and fingers in the right order. So if I hold my hand in a fist shape and stick up my thumb then index finger I can point the middle finger but my ring finger won't budge. The baby one comes out.

CommanderBurnham · 23/08/2021 23:25

I've never had brain freeze.

baabiee · 23/08/2021 23:26

I sneeze at least 10 times in a row, sometimes more but never less.

Gingernaut · 23/08/2021 23:32

I suffer postprandial sneezing bouts, even after drinking

Craftycorvid · 23/08/2021 23:33

I am that person on the bus/train to whom random strangers tell their life stories.

I can not only touch my toes but actually get my hands under my feet and stand on them.

cariadlet · 23/08/2021 23:34

@CommanderBurnham

I've never had brain freeze.

I've never had brain freeze either. DP and DD think that's strange but I'd never heard of it before I met dp. They've tried to explain what it feels like to me but I don't really understand what it is

nancy75 · 23/08/2021 23:37

I’ve never had hiccups. The most I’ve ever had is one hiccup, never followed by another

cariadlet · 23/08/2021 23:40

I think wiggling your big toe (separately to the others) is probably quite common. I can do that but can also make my little toe move on its own.

RickOShay · 23/08/2021 23:40

@Mybalconyiscracking I think we need to know more
I have a small patch of nippley type skin on my stomach.
My aunt’s is bigger.

AvantGardening · 23/08/2021 23:42

My uterus was heart shaped

Staffy1 · 23/08/2021 23:43

I have a double womb which was only noticed by the surgeon who performed my c-section.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 23/08/2021 23:43

I have the most amazing memory for completely useless things. My brain is full of lyrics of songs I heard once 20 years ago. If you asked me what I wore to X event ten years back, I could immediately recall it. I am very good in pub quizzes.

If you asked me what we had for dinner last night, or what’s on my work calendar tomorrow, I would have to go and check.

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 23/08/2021 23:43

I've used the toilet in Mick Hucknall's house.

Are you certain that it was actually his toilet? I'm only asking because I have it on good authority that he keeps his tuba standing up in the corner of his bedroom Grin

Hellocatshome · 23/08/2021 23:43

I think @mybalconyiscracking means she was the first woman as opposed to a man making it not that she was the first ever to make it.

FrankiesKnuckle · 23/08/2021 23:44

I can make my right eyeball move independently from the left one.
A bit like mad eye moody from Harry Potter.

I also have an extra nipple.
