What's going on at your place right now?

I'm cooking tea - pork loin steaks with garlic & parmesan roasted spuds, probably salady bits too - listening to the "90's throwback weekend" on the radio & enjoying a glass of wine in peace.

Dd1's been down, helped prep tea, and set the table. She's gone back upstairs to see if she can work out why she can't get Minecraft Java to load on her laptop 🤷‍♀️

Dd2's Minecrafting with a friend. Last time I popped up, they'd built themselves houses and a Post Office.

Their dad's playing F1 on the xbox.

I’m on the sofa, DP and DD(7) are in the kitchen.
She’s just had toast and marmite and has now moved on to strawberries.

DP and I will probably just have toast when DD’s in bed - we had family round for tea this afternoon and rather overdid it on the cakes and biscuits.

I want to crash out and watch something silly but don’t know what…

Just sat down after clearing dinner which was meatballs and spaghetti. Small tot of whisky in hand. Dh next to on the sofa, kids wrestling in the living room.

I’m lying on the bed feeling the baby kick.
Daughter is in bed watching a film.
Husband is at the foot of the bed performing some sort of interpretive dance and staring at me very intently?

DD and her BF are cooking dinner, I'm contemplating switching the tv on and the cats are lounging about making the place look untidy. DH is miles away visiting an old friend.

DS is playing Star Wars on the Wii (with a bloody running comentary) DH is playing Stalker on the PC (silently) and I'm sitting on the sofa with boycat and girlcat having a cup of tea and internetting. I may retreat to the peace and quiet of the bedroom shortly, and persuade the cats to come with me, so I can watch trash on youtube.

Sitting on my bed browsing mumsnet after putting DC to bed. Feeling bad about shouting at DS2 for not staying in his bed. Husband downstairs cooking himself dinner as he’s been at the pub watching the rugby, I ate with the kids. Cup of tea for me and starting a new book now.

DH away for weekend . So me ds(7) ds (5) and ds(1) had McDonald's for tea. All bathed now older two in bed and youngest just drifting off on me now while. Will pop him down then time to put my feet up with some choccy and the tv.

Eldest dd is out with a friend, dd13 is staying overnight at my mums, dd5 is supposed to be getting ready for bed but is watching YouTube kids.
DP is watching Now 70s music channel after moaning for nearly an hour there's nothing in tv.
I've done a 12 hour shift at work on a covid ward and I'm flopped on the sofa in my pjs with wine 👍

I know and the intermittent pipping doesnt stop until I physically turn it off.

Currently the dc are in bed and I was just feeling really cosy in the clean bedding. I say cosy but I have got the window open.

DH and I have just had a take away and watched what we thought was a thriller on Prime. It was one of the creepiest film I have seen for a long time, really clever, called Afterlife with Liam Neeson and Christina Ricci.

DS has had a couple of friends over and is playing board games, eating pizza and having beer in the conservatory.

dd1 is away for a week with her friend and having a blast
dd2 is sitting outside eating ramen noodles with her friend after going to our local boat club for a swim.
ds - no idea except he texted me today saying he was hanging out with 2 friends
dh in bed watching tv having tea and a biscuit brought by me
We had friends over for lunch and it was lovely - no need for dinner really so will do grilled cheese sandwiches for dh and me later.

going to read my book on the porch having a glass of rose in a minute.

Everyone is asleep including snoring Dh keeping me awake 😂
We had a little family get together this evening and when everyone left Dh went to bed but I was still quite wide awake so cleared up and cleaned the kitchen etc so it’s sparkling down there now.
I came to bed about 20 minutes ago and Dh is snoring and I can’t get to sleep so just watching some of the Olympic cycling.

I've just had a cup of tea and am looking at the Clarks website for school shoes for DC1 who starts school in September.....they are SO expensive! Confused
DH's lie in day today so he's still in bed.

I’m slobbing on the sofa with the dog and cat, its football again today, my husband has gone to the arsenal match and taken my son with him. Two childfree stints in a row, amazing.

I’m laying on the sofa, exhausted looking at my phone.
DP is faffing about with the new toiletries he’s bought for our holiday next week and asking me all sorts of annoying questions.

“Can I take my lip balm in my hand luggage?”
“Should I wear my sea bands on the plane?” He has never felt sick on a plane, only ever on boats so I have no idea why he’d want to wear them Hmm

You’d think the man had never been abroad before.

Tandoori chicken skewers and spiced cauliflower florets are in the oven. In a minute I will put on the water for rice, then in about 15 min I will put the rice on to cook and also make a raita. Then all I need to do is warm through the curried veg from the freezer (batch cooking) and hey presto! - hopefully a tasty dinner for hardly any effort.

I may have had one or two extra glasses of wine last night...so that’s my total for the weekend already hit and none for me tonight! Instead I’ll have a glass of Indian tonic on ice with angostura bitters and a slice of lemon and lime.
