What are you pondering about right now?

I'll start: I'm wondering that if I could know the future instead of the past would I swap?
How would that even work in terms of everything I've learnt? What if I was able to pick a few things I'd want to carry on knowing like skills, languages, how to swim, who's been nice or nasty to me etc ?

What is this god damn cough?! A week ago I started feeling rough, cold like symptoms and then 3 days ago I started coughing. The cough is driving me nuts! I’ve been tested for Covid and it’s negative. So what is it? Respiratory infection or simple cold with cough? Whatever it is it’s driving me nuts.

There’s a few random ponders on the go at the minute…

  1. Can I be fucked to straighten my hair?
  2. Shall I leave my fiancé because of a rather ‘close to the mark’ situation that happened last weekend
  3. My 13 year old daughter is already taller than me. Her dads side of the family are all 6 foot plus. How much shorter than my daughter will I be?

Bronchitis? I get a dose every year (apart from this year because people are washing their hands) the cough is constant and takes weeks to go.

Is my father (passed away recently) 'really' with me/around me/guiding me... I talk to him/sniff his clothes and can 'feel' him but... is it just grief/longing?
Sorry for your loss. Dm was telling me (in relarion to a friends cremation) how energy can't be destroyed, it just dissipàtes into the air, so its like my friend is still here just not in bodily form. Not that it helps but its nice to think and know there is a science.

Bit of a sad one but I've just been on the daily fail and saw the two stories of the children who lost their lives to their parents and I just can't understand how anyone especially a parent can harm their child so now I'm upset and thinking about it.

@BastardMonkfish no they did not. I called them at 9.20pm and they were an hour away! The boss then contacted me and said first thing in the morning, did they turn up? No they did not. So I've cancelled the order.
This is me totally cutting off my nose to spite my face as I need them both fit my daughters room.
But all capped off by the person who asked if they could have the old wardrobe . I of course said yes but had to put it outside for them as the time they wanted to collect was a time I was at work. I told them this.
They also did not turn up to collect it so it was heavily rained on and now because of this they no longer want it.
I will have to pay someone to take it away.
