I couldn’t think of anything I wanted for tea so just had beans on toast for the first time in months and thoroughly enjoyed it.

How often do you have beans on toast and when was the last time?

(Dc don’t like it for some reason.)

Eat them for breakfast maybe 3 times a week. Love beans on toast, filling and quick - perfect when you have a toddler to wrangle.

DaphneDeloresMoorhead · 01/08/2021 21:19

Never. Can't stand baked beans 🤮

Galassia · 01/08/2021 21:20

Never. I hate the smell and taste of baked beans and have only ever taken one mouthful before spitting it out into a tissue.

DinosaurDiana · 01/08/2021 21:21

Today, but I had triangle cheese spread instead of butter on my toast.

Ireallymustgetup · 01/08/2021 21:22

Tonight, beans and cheese with toast beside for ease of eating as cooked on a camp stove outside a shepherds hut. A chicken stole a quarter of DD (6 yrs) toast. She has been taught how to shop chickens effectively now.

mafted · 01/08/2021 21:40

A few weeks ago as part of a hotel breakfast.
DS1 eats them with scrambled egg or cheese a few times a week.

About three years ago before I discovered I was Diabetic.

WhiskeyNeverStartsToTasteNice · 01/08/2021 21:44

Never. Can't stand baked beans. Rest of the family probably have them once every few weeks.

TheCanyon · 01/08/2021 21:52

Haven't had actual beans on toast for years, but I did have a beans and cheese toastie the other day. Absolutely beautiful,.

DiaryofWimpyMumm · 02/08/2021 10:14

I think I'll have it tonight it's been too long.

NotThatSocial · 02/08/2021 10:16

About 2 hours ago! I love it and would eat it daily but try to limit it to once a week.

thanksforyourcommentrandomman · 02/08/2021 10:26

About twice a month, got to be Warburton's Toastie with Kerrygold butter, and it used to be Heinz but I think they taste like shite these days so I now buy Branston which are far superior. Occasionally I'll treat myself and have a poached egg on top

TomNookk · 02/08/2021 10:43

this morning 😋😋 have it most days

Teflondreams · 02/08/2021 10:58

At least once a week lunch for me - love it!

Bloodybridget · 02/08/2021 11:00

Can't remember, but certainly within the last couple of months. I don't usually eat baked beans any other way.

Comefromaway · 02/08/2021 11:02

About 2-3 times a week, usually for breakfast or brunch. I mostly have scrambled egg on toast, but sometimes it's beans and sometimes I push the boat out and have both.

I absolutely love baked beans.

cobblers123 · 02/08/2021 11:05

Last Tuesday night, I really didn't want to cook a proper meal so opened a large tin of beans, had two slices of well buttered seeded toast and I really enjoyed it.

First time in probably more than a year but it's something I really have to fancy to eat at the time.

Mydogisagentleman · 02/08/2021 11:20

A couple of days ago.
I often eat it, DH will occasionally have some. DD is a baked bean refuser

BananaMilkshakeWithCream · 02/08/2021 22:19

Never. Beans are 🤮 🤮

TheWholeJingbang · 02/08/2021 22:20

mocktheweek1 · 02/08/2021 22:56

I absolutely hate baked beans and so does DM so I'm guessing never before. I let DS (11mo) have beans on toast for lunch today and it was an enormous hit. DP has it as part of a full fry up brunch every Sunday

DramaAlpaca · 02/08/2021 22:58

Last week, I love beans on toast.

StudentPurse · 02/08/2021 23:02

I have it about twice a week (for breakfast, dinner or tea!!!) and last had it on Friday. Either whole meal bread or if I’m hungover Roberts extra thick white bread with loads of butter 🤤🤤

AlexaShutUp · 02/08/2021 23:02

About 1980 maybe?

Can't stand baked beans, the sauce is too sweet.

VeniVidiWeeWee · 03/08/2021 01:59

Crosse & Blackwell with added Tabasco.
