Dd1's disappeared upstairs to watch someone else play Minecraft 🙄

Dd2's down here talking an awful lot & watching her praying mantis hunt his dinner. She wants a bath running so I'll go do that in a minute while she watches Errol.

I'm listening to The Killers. Have been crocheting for a while & will pick it up again while I cook a roast shortly.

Their dad's watching Fast & Furious, the second one I think 🤷‍♀️ I'm going to get him to go to the shop for a bottle of wine later on.

What's everyone up to at yours? :)

I’m in front of the TV with a blanket, I’m having an IBD flare up, got about 4 hours sleep last night.

DD1 is doing something upstairs in her room.

DD2/3 are playing upstairs, I can hear them giggling.

I can just about afford to lounge around today as cleaner is coming tomorrow.

I'm in the US so it's not quite 9am yet. I just made the meal plan and grocery list and am about to go mow the flat bit of the lawn. I'm 27 weeks pregnant so the flat bit is all I can manage.

DH just made his first coffee of the day and is getting ready to measure up the deck as we have some rotten boards from all the rain that need replacing.

One cat is driving me crazy by obsessively trying to open a closet for no reason while the other looks on.

9m old teething DS is finally settled and napping.
DH is outside cutting the grass.

Washing is done, house is clean and tidy, dinner is prepped for later 👍🏻

DSS17 is upstairs on Xbox

DSS10 is upstairs on PS4

DSS14 is downstairs watching tv as he is on a technology ban

DSD8 is outside playing

DS3 is wandering around annoying various people

DP is playing her animal crossings

And I'm binge watching criminal minds whilst playing gin rummy on me pad lol

dd 14 is singing she sounds like a cat being strangled.
ds4 is playing in the bedroom with dh.
I'm hiding away in the kitchen so I can't hear the singing.

It just stopped raining so might pop to the shop.

Dc are eating an ice lolly after dinner and dh is gardening. They went to church this morning and I had a bit of a session with my lumea (hope God doesn't disapprove) . I also did some housework and washed outside - front steps were going green.

I cooked a roast veg and pork chop tray bake with extra veg on the side for me as I am cutting down

We might visit grandparents later.
Might batch cook some healthy dinners and I have plenty in and a bit of time. Also need to weed a bit.

I meant I resisted the roast spuds

All these people in their gardens - it's grey and drizzly here and feels like October.
I'm drinking tea and watching the olympics.

Ds2 is reading - trying to finish his book so we can watch the film later ('Catching Fire'- second hunger games book)
Dh has gone into town to buy a birthday card.
We had a lie in this morning, went to my mum's for coffee and took a boot load of stuff to the tip. I might make a cake in a bit but don't plan to do much else. Love reading about other people's lazy Sundays.

Came to visit my mum and she's taken my toddler out for an hour so I can have a rest, its lovely and I feel so grateful.

DH is hiding in the back room watching sport
DD(7) is baking a Mary Berry traybake
DD(5) is playing a very loud superhero game on her iPad right next to my hungover head
DSS(15) is pacing the room and watching the olympics (SN) and shouting out random bits of the commentary
I am sat on the sofa in my pjs watching the olympics and browsing my phone.
DS(21) & GF sending me lots of texts and videos as they had their first big night out since everything opened, they are buzzing but said it was very weird being close to so many strangers after so long.

A relatively relaxing day!

There is just me and dear dog, opposite ends of the sofa. Dear dog is sleeping after a long walk and then supervising me mowing the lawn and clipping the hedge. I've just put some minced beef on a very slow simmer for his dinner later. I'm on MN.

DS(12) has just made us all a cup of tea and is wittering on about Stranger Things.
DH is working in a presentation for work and getting stressed.
I’m drinking said cup of tea and keep remembering more things I need to pack for DS to go camping with my parents tomorrow. He’s staying at theirs tonight so they can set off early so we’re just killing time really til we need to set off. I really hope all this stuff will fit in their car!
Puppy is sleeping off the really lovely walk that we went for after lunch.
Tortoises are eating the weeds that we picked for them on our walk.

DH is on Zoom call with his mates so I've escaped to the garden. Have done a bit of pottering, looked out some bits for our upcoming cruise, browsed the Hush sale to see if I need a new dress for said cruise (I don't really) and am contemplating doing an episode of Downton Abbey if I don't drop off first.

DD's 3yrs and 4yrs are playing with their peppa pig toys in their bedroom.

DS 6yrs is playing with his toy soldiers in the dining room.

Im watching last nights casualty whilst smileydog is laying at my feet playing with a rope toy.

In laws have just left after calling in for a cuppa

DH followed them out as he's off to take some bits to the tip

DD is having a contact nap on me so I'm trapped on the sofa which is quite nice although I do need a wee

We're having leftover buffet from DD's birthday party for dinner so I dont need to worry about cooking. I'm just looking at all the balloons and banners wondering whether to take them down once DD wakes up, most of them came from a friend who's little one had a birthday just before my DD, and we are passing them on to another friend whose little girls birthday is on Thursday, so theyve done well.

Dh watching f1 or something loud.
Ds (only 1 dc still living at home!) is outside sanding down his push bike to be repainted.
I’m in bed being lazy because I usually work sundays! I have been up and pottered around the house but I’m hiding from the racing.

DH is playing his guitar. Not songs, just rifts and it's drives me mad!

I should be tidying up but we are mid extension so it feels like painting the Forth Bridge!

Roasting lamb, lounging around drinking tea, constantly refreshing MN waiting for the parking denouement, and listening to DH practising the guitar.

I would have been doing some gardening but it is too wet.

It’s 9.35am here in Caribbean. I’ve just walked the dog in the blistering heat and DH has just started building the mountain of ikea furniture for the kids bedrooms.
He’ll be golfing later, I’ll be reading a book and hanging in the pool with the kids.

Lazy morning as achy with fibro so coffee and bacon roll in bed. Took mum out for a wee drive and some sea air then back for tea and scones. Contemplating doing something in garden while sun is out but v tired. Dd has just offered to cook dinner later....result!
Now to figure out if tomorrow is a bank holiday here or not and if I need to go to work. If I do, I will have to iron something!

We went to a little farm / zoo thing earlier and had a McDonald’s on the way home. Now home and dh has fallen asleep on the sofa and snoring () and Ds aged 9 is playing on the Xbox. I’m about to go and change the beds. I fidget a lot and find it hard to sit still. Dd aged 18 is working today - works in retail- so just the 3 of us at home.

I am standing in the kitchen leaning on the counter procrastinating when I should be getting on with some tidying and sorting out washing.

Dd is out playing with next door's grandkids.

Done basics in the kitchen today. Did a fridge 'sweep' made home made hommous, put veg ready to dip in. DD emerged around 1 (teenager) to forage.

Did bits and bobs on bank accounts etc.
All ready for new carpet to be fitted tomorrow morning in my bedromo and hallway so glad that I moved furniture yesterday.

Quite glad that not a lot going on. Compared to how it was with GCSE year and hectic home schooling not such a bad sunday.

I'm on my exercise bike, DP is on the computer, I'll start dinner soon.

We've had a lovely Sunday so far of a lie in, sex & scrambled egg on toast so I can't complain! We started a series last night so I think we'll continue binging that after dinner, maybe with some wine and crisps or chocolate.
