28 in Sussex. I’m walking in the woods loving not being cold.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 19/07/2021 15:38

@weebarra

I think about 22 just outside Edinburgh.
I envy you @weebarra

that is the bang in the middle of my preferred temp range.

27 degrees down here. On the south coast and there is a pleasant breeze blowing.

Tis warm though!

BIoodyStupidJohnson · 19/07/2021 16:00

22 here (Edinburgh).

Feels warmer though.

WTFisNext · 19/07/2021 16:09

32 here. I miss my office air con...but not the sweaty commute that sees people fainting!

Apparently I need to summer in Edinburgh according to this thread. 22 is my comfortable summer limit before I start getting hot, irritable and snappy.

Bloodypunkrockers · 19/07/2021 16:11

24 in Perth

There's a very, very slight breeze

It's fabulous.

greatestdancer · 19/07/2021 16:12

29 in Northamptonshire. I’m 23 weeks pregnant and have a very grumpy 1 year old, so I’m not enjoying this weather at all!

Shehasadiamondinthesky · 19/07/2021 16:14

Somerset - boiling. I was in the garden for a bit and could feel I was burning through my tracksuit bottoms.
Cat is under the bed looking pissed off.

MinnieMountain · 19/07/2021 16:14

Supposedly 27 degrees in Peterborough. It feels hotter.

My favourite part of today has been sitting in our bedroom reading with the blind down and the fan right next to me.

FatRascalsAndJam · 19/07/2021 16:16

Visiting DC in Edinburgh where it is 22 degrees. I think it peaked around 25/26 at the weekend which was lovely. I enjoy the heat though so would also have loved being in the garden in the 30 degree heat at home this weekend!

TwitterTwatterofTinyMinds · 19/07/2021 16:17

Totally bloomin horrible. There is absolutely no need for this heat. There is nothing fun which you can magically do at 28c that isn't possible at 20-21c. Quite the opposite in fact as it is now too hot to go outside. urg.

(I like the cold, can you tell!)

Halfwreckedbykids · 19/07/2021 16:19

Motherofpoodles same here. Trying to keep dog in ...way too hot at 30

dementedma · 19/07/2021 16:19

22 here in Fife and just gorgeous. Loving it

GintyMcGinty · 19/07/2021 16:20

22C in Fife.

Dinotruxagain · 19/07/2021 16:25

26 in the North East, (apparently!) Feels a lot hotter, more like 29°. Anything over 24 and I start getting grumpy and too bloody hot.

Chunkymenrock · 19/07/2021 16:27

31 in South Wales

Lottie4 · 19/07/2021 16:30

32 here, Gloucestershire. DD at work three miles away and customer told her it's 34 in the shade in their garden!!

MistySkiesAfterRain · 19/07/2021 16:31

@PennyDreadful66

It's 27 where I am but we live in a new build so about 1000000 inside 😭
@PennyDreadful66 I live in a south facing new build, my neighbour has two toddlers and I was wondering how they were coping- she said they got a portable air con. I did some research and forked out on one from John Lewis- its gone from death trap to pleasant. I used the window kits to attach it to whole balcony door, sealing it off, and also one kit for the second room where I WFH. Im not there atm, shudder to think what the temp is!
Letsallscreamatthesistene · 19/07/2021 16:36

30 here in Bournemouth. I went for a swim in the sea early this morning, but then came home to shelter from the heat and tourists

YanTanTethera123 · 19/07/2021 16:38

31° north Wiltshire, and I hate it. Luckily I don’t have to go out and the living room isn’t too bad with the fan on and windows open. The sun hits the front of the house first thing so kept the curtains drawn.
Walked pooch at 6am, it was too warm even then in the sun so going at 5.30 am tomorrow.
I thank my lucky stars that at least I don’t have to work!

Floralnomad · 19/07/2021 16:39

Well I obviously need to relocate to Perth as 24 is just right for me .

APurpleSquirrel · 19/07/2021 16:44

28 degrees here on Somerset/Devon border - too hot! Have had to stop working today & sit in the shade in the garden as house is roasting.

duffed · 19/07/2021 16:45

has been 32 in Liverpool/Runcorn - I am hiding indoors

hellcatspangle · 19/07/2021 16:46

32.5 in the Midlands. Luckily no school runs or dogs to worry about at the moment so I can just loaf about in front of a fan.

Yrevocsid · 19/07/2021 16:46

32 where I am. 🥵

I live in an old thick stone barn though so it's lovely and cool inside.
