Apologies, you’re quite right it wasn’t you who is on here bigging up Kathy Burke.

It still seems ironic to focus on one biological inaccuracy in one post on a thread lauding a celebrity who thinks it’s possible for men to become women.

If it turns people off to point out the hypocrisy of someone like Kathy Burke, (whose usp is straight talking and no nonsense) saying she believes that men can somehow become women, so be it.

Seems like you don’t know the meaning of words generally, TooBig.

Kathy Burke stating what she believes in is not "hypocrisy" @Warmduscher. Pointing out a factual error in a post concerning biological realism is not "irony", although you could say that posting biological fallacies in a biological realism post could be seen as ironic.

I didn’t say Kathy Burke was hypocritical for stating what she believes in. That wouldn’t make sense. What is hypocritical is presenting yourself as someone who is a no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is person while holding the belief that men can become women.

Obviously if Kathy Burke has said it is simply her belief that men can become women, that is her right and if she has said she understands some people don’t believe it because it’s not possible, fair enough. The TWAW position is not normally one of “this is my belief and you are perfectly within your rights to disagree” though.

I love her, shes from my enz and the same age.
I remember reading that she loved living in the flat she grew up in, but as she accrued more wealth she was in a dilemma, she couldn't buy it, as it was against her principles, good on ya girl, and if she stayed she was doing a family out of social housing, so she reluctantly left and purchased her own property .
She is what you see.

She speaks a lot of sense and she seems so nice: I loved her other documentary about women. She has some fab lines! Love her
