London borough (nowhere near Wembley) and you wouldn't know it's an hour before kick off.

No music, no-one in thier gardens, no TV noise, no chatter or banter.

I'm quite surprised disappointed

I'm going to put my England playlist on and trailblaze Grin

Italian snd Welsh flags out.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 11/07/2021 20:23

Pretty quiet. We live on a quiet side street though.

squirrelnutkins1 · 11/07/2021 20:24

Like a normal quiet Sunday night here, you'd never know!

Bobbybobbins · 11/07/2021 20:25

We live near the centre of a small town and I can hear lots of singing!

2018SoFarSoGreat · 11/07/2021 20:35

USA here, but poor DH is a huge England fan so has barely slept in days. Crazily tense!

I'm Scottish so.. Am not singing Fortza Italia aloud. I'm a nice wife, and he's a good Un 😝

whychangethehabitofalifetime · 11/07/2021 20:52

Generally quiet street in a quiet area on the edge of a town in the south east here. I've got it on tv while DH is at the pub half a mile away. You wouldn't know it was happening here by outside, but it is pissing it down and has got really cold so I imagine that's put paid to a lot of garden parties and bbqs!

DH says the pub is packed, but still 6 to a table, and they're being strict on staying at tables and table service. All good spirits and people being generally well behaved so far. Let's hope that continues!

GorgeousLadyofWrestling · 11/07/2021 20:55

Quiet on the streets in this corner of south east London but there was a huge fight between opposing teams earlier. Been watching the scenes at Leicester Sq Angry

PropertyFlipper · 11/07/2021 20:57

Took the dog for a walk at 7.15 and there was a real vibe of excitement. People rushing to get where they needed to. Very little traffic.

GetInThereLewis · 11/07/2021 20:58

Small town on Suffolk/Norfolk border. The lads a few doors down knocked the door to apologise for the noise. I berated them them for their piss poor singing!!! Grin

lborgia · 11/07/2021 21:07

It's 6am here, dh and I are hiding under the covers because it's freezing, and it's completely dark and silent outside... but we're cheering on the inside!

Paddingtonthebear · 11/07/2021 21:07

Just went out to the street and you could hear a pin drop 😆

Nicolastuffedone · 11/07/2021 21:21

Silent. In Scotland, but quite area here anyway…

DrCoconut · 11/07/2021 21:40

The roads were wonderfully quiet for driving back from my mums birthday celebration at 8:30 😬

elp30 · 11/07/2021 21:42

I'm in the US (husband is English).

We lost our channel for about 10 minutes and I thought my husband was going to lose his mind!

Our son is pacing the floor...

It's all tense up in here. Outside, not so much.

firsttimedad79 · 11/07/2021 21:46

Nice and quiet. Put the football on for the 2nd eldest and let him stay up but that's it :)

SkankingMopoke · 11/07/2021 22:00

Quiet! It's raining, so all the revellers have retreated inside. I'm grateful as we could hear the NDNs singing "Three lions on her tits" at the top of their lungs inside our house just before the heavens opened. Lovely musical accompaniment to our dinner. DH has gone to a friend's, so it's just me, the cat, and complete control of the remote control. It's great!

Hyacinth88 · 11/07/2021 22:04

Small town Scotland. V v quiet roads. More people watching than would admit to it I think.
Two house shave Italian flags.. Genuine reasons and I've seen one decorated with English flags presume genuine reason too but I don't know them.

vinoandbrie · 11/07/2021 22:35

Quiet here in Cornwall!

Kanaloa · 11/07/2021 23:05

Really rough. People screaming in the streets/banging things loudly etc, lots of clearly very drunk people. Don’t think the atmosphere will improve now they’ve lost either.

TonTonMacoute · 11/07/2021 23:09

Quiet here in Cornwall!

Yes, bliss isn't it? If it was rugby...!

Sometimesonly · 11/07/2021 23:12

Celebratory fireworks , car horns and general shouting now.

daisypond · 11/07/2021 23:16

Quiet. I’m in London. I could hear our neighbours cheering for Italy through the wall(terraced house). That’s it.

iklboo · 11/07/2021 23:22

Very quiet. We could hear the neighbours behind us cheering / groaning but only if we went in the kitchen.

namechangecovidquestion · 11/07/2021 23:34

@ssd

I just drove back from asda and seen a couple of italy flags .... I'm in Glasgow
Some Scottish support any team that play against England, apparently the English beat them at some war 600 years ago and they are still sore.
WhatNowFrantic · 11/07/2021 23:41

Just been to pick up a relative from the pub, small town I drove through had police everywhere and lads sitting in the middle of the road,I had to drive round them😏
