I'm alone in the cinema and a bit freaked out

My first visit in almost a year. I'm sitting here alone in a semi dark screening room waiting for the film to start and it's all a bit weird. I've had a look on the booking app and it seem they have indeed sold one ticket for this screening but now worried someone strange will randomly turn up at the last minute!

DD1 and I went to see a film a few years ago. We were (we thought) the only ones there. Cue us being so relaxed we sang along, DD even danced at one point, and laughed a lot about how thats what it would be like to be rich and hire out cinemas for ourselves.

As we got ready to leave an old man appeared from the very back corner and thanked us for making his day as he loves seeing people enjoy themselves.

I was a little embarrassed. 15 yo DD was mortified

Never been the only one, at least two/three other people, who would bloody well sit right behind me!!!!
