I’ve never bothered but now I’m going to bother!

I am an absolute tart when it comes to grocery shopping - Tesco, Asda, Waitrose, Ocado, Marks and Sainsbury’s.

Tia!

Sainsbury’s but you need the nectar app - we’ve accumulated £104 since Christmas!
You can have a card.

The CoOp is brilliant. You get money off your shopping and then it also donates to local good causes

I use Lidl's and Tesco's, Lidl's is def better value for money spent but Tesco's points add up if you have more than one mobile as you can add extra points as a family perk.

I did enjoy my free birthday cookie from Lidls as well :)

Def Nectar
We do an online shop at Sainsburys once a week (between £80-150) and then I might pop in once or twice a week. DP also uses the fuel station.
We have the app and load the bonus points on, we also had them provide our utilities before moving and then we were always being sent vouchers for the shop.
We've accumulated about £120 so far this year and will let them run through until Christmas when we use it for 'double up' and towards the 'big Christmas shop'.

I think nectar is the best loyalty card, can get points from Sainsbury's, Asda, Esso, Costa, eBay, just eat etc.
In December you can double up the points to spend at Sainsbury's. I did my entire Christmas food shops using nectar points and still has £120 left 9ver

NoWordForFluffy · 28/06/2021 21:17

@Bitofachinwag, you get way more points if you have the app in conjunction with the card.

Newnormal99 · 28/06/2021 21:17

@Bitofachinwag

If you have the app you get bonus points on certain products. They really mount up - far more than you get from normal shopping.

@MistySkiesAfterRain

Agree Tesco. I regularly have £4 in points to take off my shop and I only do once a month shopping.

Waitrose- if you pay with the JL Partnership Credit Card you also get more vouchers. The vouchers are not bad but it forces you to buy certain types of products.

Nectar- esp connected with Ebay and now Avanti for travel can be ok but slow to build up. You really have to save them up for a tenner then feel like they are being spent on something worthwhile. I was given an outdoor garden set bought with Nectar points- the guy in homebase said it was the most points he had ever seen.

Nectar now read up with Costa, just eat and loads more retailers. Since December (only shopping at Sainsbury's, Argos, eBay and Costa) I've amassed 32845 points so far

Nectar also give vouchers for money off eBay. I got a 20% off voucher this week and got a pair of AirPod pro's for £147.
