Might be a bit quiet today, baby not too well so he's on iv antibiotics. Seething tbh because the whole birth and after care seems to have bordered on incompetence. I understand they were busy but there's a huge difference between busy and negligent. DD holding up ok, worried obviously.

I hope Little Purpley is having a great day and that Kurt's DGS is doing well.

Now I'm wondering if @featherbird is still going on her date tomorrow (none of my business, of course ).

Oh, I've crossed posted. Kurt, yes, it seems like the standard of care could have prevented some of this. Will be thinking of your DD and DGS!

the first date DH & I went on I wore jeans, old t-shirt & Doc Martens.
it helped that I hadn't realised we were on a date. my English was very poor back then.

That's the thing I'm a first date you don't care as much but now the second I'm quite interested.
Roll on to date 100 where I can roll up with no make up and not iron my top 😂

honestly I say start as you mean to go on. just be you.
if he scares easily then good riddance.
if you let rip a fart and all he responds with is "I could taste that" but still wants another date you marry him!

Sorry to hear that the baby isn't feeling so well @KurtWilde. Will they be able to go home today? Or are they keeping him in the hospital for a bit longer?

@Kurt - poor little mite. My DS had antibiotics and fed through a tube for the first 5 hours due to mucusy chest- it looks worse than it is seeing them like that, but I'm sure they're just being precautious now and she'll be home tomorrow or the next day with a bit of luck. Big squeeze XXX
