Morning all, I was hoping for a long lie but I've reached that miserable stage that I always thought my grand parents were mad waking up at the crack of dawn for no reason - I'm early 30's FFS 🙄

Nevermind, I'm working 10-2 then will see what the weather's doing for the rest of the day I suppose!

to answer your question DH & I got our 1st jab last night. we got an email from our kids' school to just turn up at a nearby Uni by 7pm. he was working so couldn't get there until 6.25.
we queued for 2 hours, some of it out side in the rain so we were joking that we might not get any side effects from the vaccine but could easily end up with pneumonia from waiting in the cold & rain🤣
they gave priority to people who were there for 2nd jab, and we wished they did that for football fans too😉

so we missed the 1st half of the game, had to get our friend to come over earlier to feed kids.
as soon as I got home I had a hot shower, had takeaway, watched 2nd half, went to bed.

and had a reasonable night's sleep, although I had a dream that I shaved off my daughter's hair because I thought he was my youngest son so was quite relieved to wake up to find it didn't happen.

arm feels like there's a sore 4-day old bruise, no other symptoms. phew.

I keep them in sealed, in the fridge. they are less crumble-y and taste so much more butter-y this way!

Dsis hand fasting today, and the covid tests are negative WOOOHOOOO!! So we're making ourselves pretty, DD is a flower girl so her excitement level is through the roof haha

I’m going to tidy the back garden up and then take the dog out for a walk.

Zing it's my sister, they had the legal bit at the registry office just them and his parents, so today is a hand fasting in the idyllic Yorkshire countryside.
