Footballers who is your crush?

I appear to have developed a few footballer crushes

Marcus Rashford for obvious reasons - I'm old enough to be his mum as well.

Edinson Cavani - 😍

And my latest one Kaspar Schmeichel he certainly doesn't take after his dad for looks!

Wes Brown for me. This is a very long term crush and there have been (and currently are) many others - Alan Smith, Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic, Victor Lindelof, Scott McTominay, Curtis Davies, Stan Collymore, Tyrone Mings…

But mostly Wes Brown

Watching the Netherlands game has just reminded me I used to fancy Frank and Ronald de Boer.

Also Ruud van Nisterrooy and Raimond van der Gouw. (Once a Man U goalie.)

I clearly have a thing for Dutch men.

When I was a teenager it was Lee sharp. I was so in love with him I use to carry a photo of him in my wallet !
Now that I am older although the age of my crushes has appeared to stay the same it has to be Virgil van Dijk.

Jordan Henderson. Beautiful blue eyes.

Not a footballer, but I adore Joachim Löw the German trainer.
I have seen him close up, in real life, twice. Really gorgeous.

Not many footballers are good looking. Occasionally when we are watching the champions league I see a few who are decent looking, but not that many.

I've chatted to Kasper Schmeichel, he is indeed very easy on the eye. And lovely.

Lee Sharpe and then I found him recently on Instagram. Not my teenage crush as I knew him.

Allison(Liverpool’s goalkeeper) and Jordan Henderson. Liverpool definitely have the best looking team. In my teen years I loved John Barnes (then a Liverpool and England player). Met him in a nightclub when I was a student at Liverpool Uni and he was an absolute gentleman - signed loads of autographs and was very good humoured when talking to a very drunk teenage fan ( I look back now and cringe!)
