In the spirit of daft sleb twaddle, what celeb pairings have you read about and would never have thought of as a couple in a million years?

For example

Harry & Meghan- knew of her from Suits but when I read about her and Harry for the first time I just thought “now that’s random!”. Particularly given his previous history of exclusively dating blonde Sloaney types...

Elon Musk and Grimes- after showing a preference for gorgeous young actresses (Talulah Riley and Amber Heard) I wouldn’t have placed him with a quirky electro pop singer who makes vulva-shaped jewellery on the side.

Lily Allen and David Harbour (but they do seem very sweet together)
Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston (RIP Tayto)
Kourtney Kardashian (I think that’s the right one) and Travis from Blink 182.
Phoebe Dynevor (from Bridgerton) and Pete Davidson (although he has a history of “huh” girlfriends- Kate Beckinsale for example)
Millie Mackintosh and Professor Green (who didn’t last very long to be fair)

This isn’t a criticism of any of these couples btw, if you’re happy you’re happy!

I know @YellowBeryl but it's not a recent development...there's been strong rumours for about 10 years but he's only (kind of) been open about it in the last couple.

His mum passed away a couple of years back and he said he wasn't comfortable talking publicly about his private life while she was alive.

Julia roberts and Matt Perry isn't shocking to me- he was massively famous, really funny and seen as the fit bloke in friends at the time and I think she possibly was in a bit of a career slump - it was reported at the time she had asked to be on friends.
The bloke she went out with after Kiefer Sutherland was more of an odd pairing -Lyle Lovett - he was definitely punching !

Some of these aren’t very odd. I think Ronnie O’Sullivan and Layla Rouass match rather well, ditto Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen.

Scott Disick’s obsession with teenage girls is bizarre, I think he may need some psychiatric help tbh. He dumped Lionel Richie’s daughter when she turned 21 then replaced her with another 19 year old. It’s so creepy, particularly given the fact his oldest child is 12 this year so the older his child gets, the closer he creeps towards the age of his girlfriends.

Stacey Solomon and Steve-o were definitely an odd pairing. Ditto Mary Kate Olsen and Oliver Sarkozy. Pete Davidson just looks like he needs a wash so him with anyone tbh...

Yes, I originally thought that Bo Derek and John Corbett were different generations, but I think the difference is less than 5 years. The reason that I think she's so much older is that she became famous younger than he did.

Yes I think Isla Fisher/Sacha Baron Cohen just seems weird as people are used to seeing him in character and not as SBC.

Judy Finnigan was a very attractive woman in her youth and in middle age. Very smart too. I'm not surprised Richard fell for her. I suspect ill health as well as age have taken their toil.

I always found Kim and Kanye an odd couple. Plus apparently Kim had a fling years ago with Travis, Kourtney's current boyfriend. Kourtney and Travis seem pretty well matched to me. Travis looks like absolute filth so I bet Scott is seething!!! Hence him going out with Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinner's 17 year old DD.

Completely forgot about Anna Friel and Dazza Day. I think they were even engaged at one point? Could never see them together now!
