What’s your favourite “kids” meal?

I’ve just had turkey dinosaurs, chips and beans.

Also very partial to sausage egg and chips.

What’s your favourite?

Chicken dippers with sweet chilli dipping sauce nom nom.

Spaghetti hoops on toast.

Quorn nuggets, boiled potatoes, mayo for dipping both.

Crispy pancakes with tinned tomatoes and waffles / smiley faces ! Or sausage meat pie and butterscotch tart from primary school !!

Oh also turkey (or chicken I can't remember) Kiev balls with all the melty buttery herby goodness out the freezer 😂😂😂

Oh if we're doing primary school, then butterscotch angel delight with a single chocolate button perched in the middle. I'd love to find a vegan equivalent of that.

I hadn't even thought about dessert.

Ah puddings from school were my favourite!

Jam sponge cake with coconut sprinkles on top, served with custard.

Vanilla ice cream with chocolate custard, sounds vile but it is amazing.

My kid's a right ponce. "Please can I have stir fried vegetables with my ramen and I'll grab the siracha". She wouldn't eat a fish finger sandwich. Or spaghetti hoops with cheese on top. Mmmmmmm. She'd ask where the fresh pasta was. I've ruined her.

A few weeks again, as bet/dare from 9YO DD I ordered a single nugget and a chip along side my fancier meal. To my surprise and DDs delight they went along with it.

It was a great nugget. Should have ordered more.
