I've just come to the end of a 48 pack of Who gives a Crap bamboo toilet paper as it was on offer. ( for those that have never heard of it, you buy online and they give money to third world countries for better sanitation )and
I usually buy the Andrea triple one, but bought Andrex Clean which is a little meh .
Which loo paper do you buy ?

48 rolls of who gives a crap lasts us about six months, had no problems with it and get their kitchen roll too.

I like how the pretty coloured rolls look in a basket next to the loo Blush.

Supermarket own brand that smells of cocoa butter always. Makes the bathroom smells nice and it wipes your bum as well as anything else.

Tangledtresses · 15/05/2021 18:25

I don't like those Shea butter ones as they leave a greasy, thrush inducing smear of chemicals on my ass 😂
Tesco's own or if I'm feeling decadent quilted!
But my kids tend to use half a roll for every poo....

I get Who Gives A Crap. I tried their regular recycled obce and it wasn't great. Made rubbish nose blowing tissue because it fell to bits. But their bamboo is brilliant. And it's nice not having to worry about buying it all the time.

Happyschool · 15/05/2021 18:41

Do all Who gives a Crap rolls come wrapped individually or did I get that wrong when once looked into it? It put me off as seemed unnecessary.
I like Cheeky panda too but don’t generally have a strong view and I chop and change. I’ve never been to someone else’s house and noticed their loo roll or thought ooh I like this one!!

Happyschool · 15/05/2021 18:41

I also didn’t go for Who gives a Crap as it seems to come all the way from China

Clawdy · 15/05/2021 18:47

Andrex Gentle Clean. I like the quilted but it doesn't flush as easily.

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 15/05/2021 18:51

Cushelle or Nicky deluxe, both great.

zaffa · 15/05/2021 18:54

Andrex because it's the best. Also only white, none of this scented or dyed loo roll in this house 🥰

zaffa · 15/05/2021 18:54

Emoji fail .....

LavendulaAngustifolia · 15/05/2021 18:58

Bumboo. It's a subscription like who gives a crap but marginly cheaper. They're also not individually wrapped which I didn't see the point of.

OxanaVorontsova · 15/05/2021 19:18

Who gives a crap here too, lasts for ages

ChocOrange1 · 15/05/2021 19:21

Asda shades because you can buy it in a massive pack, so we don't have to buy it often and never run out.

I tried "Who Gives a Crap" but it was considerably more expensive and, I felt, lower quality.

Zancah · 15/05/2021 19:26

Andrex in 75s from Amazon. Think it's about £22-£25, lasts us months.
Never had a blocked toilet yet ((*touches wood))

joystir59 · 15/05/2021 19:35

Any plain white supermarket brand but not those really cheap light flimsy rolls that have about ten sheets on a roll. My friend is always trying to persuade me to buy WGAC but I'm not convinced.

kitkatsky · 15/05/2021 19:37

The cheapest, because I only use it for Arse wiping

takemetothelakes · 15/05/2021 19:47

Who Gives A Crap here too. Really happy with it. I'd tried it elsewhere before we got it.

PinkTonic · 15/05/2021 19:48

I get WGAC now, the bamboo one and I’m happy with it. I used to get the Waitrose aloe vera one from Ocado but neither the M&S or Ocado versions are anything like it so I was looking for an alternative when I saw an offer and decided to give it a go.

ViciousJackdaw · 15/05/2021 19:52

I get Nicky from Home Bargains. It's as good as Andrex but half the price.

AfternoonToffee · 15/05/2021 20:09

I use Nicky as well, 18 pack - though I have recently switched to Sainsburys House 24/7 packs which are the Nicky rolls. Costs me at extra 50p compared to Home Bargains but it comes with my shop, so easier.

Spring Force was Nicky too at one point, but I am not sure if they still are.

I have inherited some Andrex from my MIL, I don't really like it, thankfully she only had 2 x 4 packs - we've done 1, 1 to go.

When I first met dh 20 years ago his parents had that Izal stuff, I used to take some from my house in my pocket.

Kottbullar · 15/05/2021 20:15

@SomethingNastyInTheBallPool

We have a garage full of Kirkland Signature bog roll from Costco. It’s great, reasonably priced and I love knowing that we’re not going to run out for months.
Same here. The kitchen roll is fab too.
Ki0612 · 15/05/2021 20:20

U often go to home bargains just for toilet roll. Nicky is so much cheaper than other brands and tje best quality.

KaptainKaveman · 15/05/2021 20:20

I use newspaper. Old editions of the Daily Mail are perfect.

FairyDust123456 · 15/05/2021 20:57

I use Little Duck from Savers. £4 for 18 rolls. Does the job!

AlwaysLatte · 15/05/2021 21:05

The one brand coconut one from Tesco. It's soft and smells lovely.
