Guess the year by what your childhood bedroom was like

I was having a discussion earlier with friends how you can identity which era and quite possibly the year by describing what your child hood bedroom was like.

Naming which posters were on your wall makes it far too easy!

For example, when I was 8 my bedroom was lime green and bright orange. I had a tape recorder in one corner and a tv with a dodgy ariel in the other. My furniture was all pine and I had a cork board on the wall - what year was this?

Wow no one is completely right yet - another clue - I had a blow up chair and a blow up alien looking out of the window in an attempt to scare passers by.

Omg I had the blow up chair and a silver blow up back pack! Love the smell of inflatables.. is that wierd? I also had a pine cabin bed with a desk underneath and a collection of miniature cabbage patch dolls. My friend had the lime green and orange walls I remember it vividly !!!

I had a bunk bed with the sofa/ bed convert at the bottom. I had posters of blazin squad, steps, spice girls, take that, s club 7. I had a massive drawing of chef from South Park. I had linkin park and limp biz kit posters too. I had a clown necklace. Nokia 3210.

I had a MASSIVE clock in the shape of a watch on my wall 😂

Pre makeover my bedroom was floor to ceiling plus the ACTUAL ceiling of a certain boyband. That was until my DM redecorated when I had a week away... black and white wallpaper on the bottom half of the wall with a matching border and white on the top half of the wall. White mdf furniture with portable telly and vcr. So very sophisticated!

Oh wow I went to Glastonbury that year and I am sure I remember blow up aliens being a thing 😂 It was the X files influence and coming of the millenium.

I knew that'd be a 90s bedroom. I too had an inflatable chair, 'citrus' colours on the walls, etc. and was born 1988.

Oh and many Spice Girls posters.

I actually don't remember my childhood bedroom I remember my 15 year old self's bedroom though. Pink floral wallpaper, pink floor-length curtains and pine blinds, a pine dressing table/wardrobe/book stand, a double bed and a tv. What year?

I had orangey pine bunkers covered in puffy stickers, a pale blue "Snatch The Dog" duvet set, pale blue radio alarm clock. Walls were woodchip with a polka-dot wallpaper border.

MoFloFlo my DD now has my Snatch duvet cover! Still going strong, no idea how.

@MoFoFlo I had snatch duvet cover so loved it. I was about 14, I had blue and my friend had pink.
1978?

I had a mauve bedspread with Holly Hobby valance, matching frieze and curtains, floral mauve wallpaper, stippled ceiling, white MDF vanity dressing table and mirrored wardrobe. My mother really went to town!

In later years I had a lava lamp and coveted one of the inflatable chairs
