So it seems breastfeeding and needing IVF previously means nothing..

Very shaky right now, need a hand hold please!

DS is 16 months, took 3.5 years to make with the help of ICSI for male factor infertility. He is breastfed and a boob monster, feeding day and night still. I haven't had a period for over two years now, not even a sniff of one bar a bit of cramping for the past few weeks. DH and I dont often find the time to have sex but here I am, having taken a pregnancy test because I've been feeling a bit strange ( struggling to sleep, bloated ). I bought a two pack of cheap ones from sainburys and have obviously done both and and say the same.

Never in a million years after being told we would never conceive naturally did I expect this - I don't think I believe it. We'd discussed doing a Frozen Embryo Transfer at the end of the year after DS turned two.

I've peed on enough of these things in the last few years but still I'm doubting it's real and will be getting a fancier test this morning.

Yikes.

I love this thread. Such a lovely cheery one for a Monday.

Congratulations op!

Thank you all again, we are definitely very surprised but also over the moon ( although it doesn't feel real yet! ).

I've put in an e consult with the GP because I don't know my dates or anything so hopefully they'll arrange a scan soon. I know things can be kickstarted in women but really didn't expect DH to magically become fertile after we were told he had no chance of conceiving naturally.

My neice and her partner welcomed a little boy eighteen months ago. They had had failed IVF history needed because of partner's quality and quantity of sperm. As their consultant told them it just takes one.
They have no idea whether they will ever be lucky again but even if not they are so happy with their little boy.

Ah wonderful news - I know so many people this has happened to!

I'd say judging from your first response test you're between 4-5 weeks but I'd maybe do a Cheeky clearblue digital with weeks test......
