Does the ocean fall out of you. Is it just me??

OP posts:
nicenicenice · 09/05/2021 22:40

Yes! So annoying!

Chickychickydodah · 09/05/2021 22:43

No!

Mine waits for the moment I am fully dry, clean knicker and jeans THEN creates niagra falls

I thought it was only me🤦‍♀️🤣🤣🤣

Stopsnowing · 09/05/2021 22:45

This used to happen to me but not any more!

Youaremysunshine09 · 09/05/2021 22:47

Yes all the time

SteelMack · 09/05/2021 22:49

@Stopsnowing

Why not any more, what changed?
crapbuttrue · 09/05/2021 22:53

Isn't this the Mumsnet parcel shelf...?

I have this after sex too. More of an ooze than a gush though.....

QueenPaw · 09/05/2021 22:54

Never happened to me!

Babyroobs · 09/05/2021 23:09

Mid fifties here and have had four kids and can categorically say this has never happened to me !

therocinante · 09/05/2021 23:11

Happens to me and I've never had any kids!

minniemomo · 09/05/2021 23:14

@DriftingTurtles Me neither, guessing I'm fortunate

Rae36 · 09/05/2021 23:16

Me after I've been swimming. Not so much the bath....

Sparklingbrook · 09/05/2021 23:19

I get the post bath gush hours later. Maybe at the shops. Confused It makes no sense-why does gravity not work? My periods manage just fine. Grin
I am more a shower person now, can't be doing with it.

Esspee · 09/05/2021 23:31

After drying myself thoroughly I waddle through to the bedroom with the towel gripped between my thighs and keep it there for as long as possible. Even so it still happens occasionally after I have dressed.
It’s a bit like your waters breaking.

MuddySocks · 10/05/2021 00:01

Nah... doesn't happen to me.

I'm still honey moon fresh down there after two c sections 😉😝

Sparklingbrook · 10/05/2021 00:05

There's a reply that said Happens to me and I've never had any kids! so don't think your 'honeymoon freshness' is significant sadly.
PastMyBestBeforeDate · 10/05/2021 00:07

Yes it happened to me when I had a bath. I think it started post dc1.

HowsYourHeadHun · 10/05/2021 00:09

No. Didn't realise this was a thing.

Everyday is a school day! Blush.

Miljea · 10/05/2021 00:10

(Quietly invents vagina snorkel)

Puntastic · 10/05/2021 00:14

Saw the thread title and knew it was about afterbath. I've had it on and off since I was a teen. It's normal for some people.

Rno3gfr · 10/05/2021 00:40

I’ve never had this happen to me. Does this happen to both women who’ve given birth vaginally/haven’t?

Jojoanna · 10/05/2021 00:47

Never happened to me and I’ve had 2 kids

Sparklingbrook · 10/05/2021 00:47

Judging by the replies on this thread it’s not even related to childbirth often.
Teenagers, people with no children etc.

CorianderBee · 10/05/2021 00:50

Think it depends on the makeup of your vulva. Mine forms a kind of vacuum lock so no water ever goes up there. So I think it's likely to do with your... lips. Sorry that's v tmi.

starfishmummy · 10/05/2021 01:02

@UnFringed

No!

This!!
Anordinarymum · 10/05/2021 03:52

It only happens to me when I go on a trampoline/cough.sneeze/laugh.
