Nobody

BasiliskStare · 05/05/2021 14:58

I am in two minds here - I think the conservatives have done a decent job of vaccinations & furlough I do not agree with them on everything
Not happy about Labour's stance on women's rights.

may be lord bucket head Grin - I won't

nancy75 · 05/05/2021 15:00

I will be voting for Khan (London Mayor) disgusted by the campaign of out & out lies by Shaun Bailey.

Dollywilde · 05/05/2021 15:05

Shaun Bailey is a joke of a candidate, I’m sure there’s some sort of strategic reason why the tories don’t want to win the London Mayoral as a decent candidate would have been quite tough for SK to hang on against. If I were still in London I’d probably go Women’s Equality first choice, Labour second. As it is we recently moved to a Lib Dem area in the South East, they’re pretty stable here but I’ll be out voting for them tomorrow just to make sure complacency doesn’t have the area turning blue.

Full disclosure I’m a former Lib Dem member, ideologically now though closer to the soft left of Labour. If Kier Starmer made any sort of success of his leadership I’m very ripe for conversion.

Vinorosso74 · 05/05/2021 15:05

I've done a postal vote for London. Sadiq Khan for mayor, Sian Berry as second choice, the Labour candidate for the constituency assembly member and Greens as the other one assembly selection.
The Tories will never get my vote. Never ever.

3JsMa · 05/05/2021 15:06

Anyone but Shaun Bailey, his behaviour and language were abhorrent so far.Considering Labour, but won't rule out LIB Dems or Green Party. We need something new.

CarolinaWeeper · 05/05/2021 15:07

I'm voting Green here. I've never voted for them before but the local candidate has some good policies and is the one that engaged the most in terms of campaigning. I've not heard anything from the Conservative or Lib Dem candidates at all.

Dollywilde · 05/05/2021 15:07

you might as well save yourself the time and energy and stay at home if you're going to do that!

@emmathedilemma absolutely not. Staying at home says ‘I don’t care about politics’. Spoiling your vote says ‘I care, and I think you’re all a bunch of twats’. It’s important to make your voice heard even if you’re disillusioned.

HainaultViaNewburyPark · 05/05/2021 15:08

No one - because I’m currently self-isolating and don’t know anyone who is registered to vote in the right location to nominate as a proxy. It will be the first time I’ve ever missed voting in an election. And I’m pretty pissed off about the whole thing.

Lottapianos · 05/05/2021 15:08

'Spoiling your vote says ‘I care, and I think you’re all a bunch of twats’. '

Yep, that's pretty much how I'm feeling!

Forestiere · 05/05/2021 15:13

Ours is either Labour or possibly LD. Not happy with either so may vote for an Independent or spoil my ballot.
I always vote but the paucity of options is dire at the moment.

EdwinPootsLovesArchaeology · 05/05/2021 15:14

Yes, same here.
GintyMcGinty · 05/05/2021 15:20

Spoiling your vote says ‘I care, and I think you’re all a bunch of twats’.

No one will actually care though that you think that. Sorry.

Devlesko · 05/05/2021 15:47

I don't think they care who or why people spoilt their ballot. Grin
It's a waste of time, just don't bother going.
Fair enough if it meant anything to anyone who mattered.

EdwinPootsLovesArchaeology · 05/05/2021 15:51

I've seen a city council seat lost, after two recounts, by two votes.

You bet they cared about the spoiled ballots.

ZaZathecat · 05/05/2021 15:56

1st choice: Rejoin EU candidate (just to register my disgust at Brexit)
2nd choice: Khan - better of the two horse race.

BashfulClam · 05/05/2021 16:08

Anyone to get our local MSP out. He was SNP but was kicked out of the party due to him grooming a boy of 16 (yes he was over the age of consent but still...). He’s now independent but has done nothing in over 2 years , has just hidden at home and collected his nice big salary and we have been stuck with him!

ApocalypseNowt · 05/05/2021 16:10

Yorkshire Party. They're the only ones who seem to want to shut down Leeds despicable red light district. I have the feeling they know what women are too.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 05/05/2021 16:12

Ours will be tight between Labour and Conservatives.
Our Labour AM is brilliant (Wales) so she’ll be getting my vote

Dressingdown1 · 05/05/2021 16:13

Someone who knows what a woman is. So definitely not Lab, Lib or Green.

EcoCustard · 05/05/2021 16:15

Tory stronghold around my parts for longer than I have been around. I have already voted and went for local independent candidates for council and PCC.

Pittapatta · 05/05/2021 16:18

Plaid Cymru are spouting lots of support for trans rights and gets talked about a lot by the local candidate. After the year we've had and times the country are about to face I find it crazy.

I'm voting Propel in Wales

Violetparis · 05/05/2021 16:19

Will vote for Andy Burnham for Mayor and for Labour in the council elections. This year I have wavered about voting Labour for the first time in my life but not wanting the Tories to win has become my priority again.

llm24 · 05/05/2021 16:21

Labour for me in Scotland

Purplekitchen · 05/05/2021 16:39
