How many people would come to my funeral?

DH and I were discussing this and we both feel that there's unlikely to be more than 10 mourners, let alone the 30 currently allowed. We don't have any children, lots of young adult nieces and nephews but only 3 of them are likely to come. Possibly a few friends. Is this unusual? Do most people have more than 30? I suggested to DH that if he went first, I would arrange for him to have one of those just cremations, but no funeral. Much to my astonishment, he was appalled. He wants an actual funeral, even though there'd be hardly anyone there. I suppose I'd have to comply with his wishes, if that situation arises.

Funerals can be done quickly in the UK. Muslim burials are typically within 24/48 hours.

The average length of time from death to funeral is 14 days where I work (council bereavement team)

Usually length of time is due to avaliablity of funeral directors as well as cremation times or grave diggers

I'be left my body to Birmingham university to do with as they wish and signed the forms to say they can dispose of what's left when they have finished with it.

If they can't take it (certain illnesses or causes of death) I will have a direct cremation.

I have three children and a Dh but no one else. No other family or friends.

I know some people love huge funerals - my mum dies when I was 12. My dad had to take out a bloody loan to pay for what she wanted and it was almost the straw that broke the camels back with us keeping our home. She was dead for gods sake. She would never have known. And all of the hundred or so people there? All saying how much she meant to them. None of them contacted us again afterwards.
