I feel the need for renewed discourse with fellow aficionados of the game of games, so in the hope that this will capture your interest, I offer a bilateral plunge to

Looking for some advice.
My daughter had her baby a month early she was also in a relationship with baby dad who was controlling her.
Anyway a fall out with him and me led to me calling the police to get the baby home as my daughter and baby lived with me and he also threatened to kill himself the night before.
Health Visitor came for the first time which she wasn’t happy and got social services involved.
Social worker came to house and checked bedroom and said she was happy with baby and house then went to baby’s dad the day after which she agreed baby should see father so was told where we was shopping and was ment to meet at park.
Anyway father of baby and his parents turned up at the supermarket where we was and was kicking off he still got to see baby and later that night he had video chat where he was taking tablets threaten to kill himself again to upset my daughter.
The next day we had a appointment with a solicitor which two orders was taken out one to stop him contacting my daughter other to stop him taking baby.
Anyway he broke the order a couple off times which police still to take action also now social services are involved they have had a child in need meeting which they say it’s not issues with my daughter it’s him but I feel like my daughter is been judged.
What should I be thinking

Thank1 · 23/04/2021 20:57

Can a health Visitor be able to read police notes about my daughter after her ex breaking a non molistation order

TheReturnOfTheMaud · 23/04/2021 21:34

This is a thread to play a game, and I doubt that you'll get the advice you need here. Your solicitor should be able to answer your questions and there's also the Legal Matters board here where you might get more help.

Large.

VeniVidiWeeWee · 23/04/2021 22:36

Sorry, that should be Largs.

ValerieMorghulis · 23/04/2021 22:37

#awkward

But at this point the only rational move is south to Clapham North. An oldie but a goody...

Random789 · 23/04/2021 22:43

Ah! Clapham North. At last this thread is starting to make sense.

Oxford Circus.

VeniVidiWeeWee · 23/04/2021 22:45

A rational move? Not from Largs.
TheReturnOfTheMaud · 23/04/2021 23:05

Hmm. Perplexing. But I think we can progress to

Archway

OP posts:
VeniVidiWeeWee · 23/04/2021 23:15

Nope. You need to resolve the Largs move first.

BCBG · 23/04/2021 23:21

The Large move cannot be played until Canning Town has been bifurcated (Kiev Convention, 1895). As my father the General used to say, it's hard to beat a Shepherd's Bush triple salchow to Acton on the up line..

VeniVidiWeeWee · 23/04/2021 23:24

What is this Large move of which you speak?

Nothing to do with Largs.

TheReturnOfTheMaud · 24/04/2021 00:10

The General spoke a great deal of sense. All moves north of the border are void until such time as Kings Cross is in knockings - and, for Largs, Canning Town must also be bifurcated, as BCBG reminds us - so there’s nothing to resolve. I would remind all players that interjecting without making a move will immediately place them in nidd.

So sorry, fell asleep at Euston and had to take a 24 hour penalty squirdle. Haven't been this inept since the Putney Bridge Convention of 1989 which have me a three day hangover and a very nasty scar. Anyway, play on and excuse the limp. I'm tossing in Bank to Bond Street in the obligatory top hat and pearls...

titchy · 25/04/2021 13:37

I thought the need for bifurcation had been suspended in the 2020 Covid-19 rules (section 4, paragraphs 3.2-3.8 updated March 2021)? Or is there a later update I'm unaware of?

Anyway I play Waterloo East.

TheReturnOfTheMaud · 25/04/2021 13:56

I heard from the Colonel last night that the Covid-19 rules are now in some doubt, thanks to someone making an unauthorised transverse shunt to Barnard Castle, but the super-injunction prevents him from saying more.

That was a memorable weekend at Putney Bridge, though, so I’ll assay a move to

Kew Gardens

OP posts:
BCBG · 25/04/2021 15:46

Interesting point Titchy but I think you'll find that bifurcation is a necessity now that Canning Town can't. Of course, the obvious riposte would be to alight at St James blindfolded and double back to Green Park, but I'm thinking leaving Oxford Circus in third position with a french pirouette to Bayswater should shake off the stragglers...

TheReturnOfTheMaud · 25/04/2021 18:59

Hmm. Tricky, but it gives me the opportunity to attempt a move I first saw played to devastating effect at the Monte Carlo playoffs in '78:

Edgware Road

OP posts:
titchy · 25/04/2021 19:08

Camden Town (as it's Sunday)

BCBG · 25/04/2021 22:30

Oh Well played, Titch! Haven't seen a Camden Town slider since my grandmother taught me the Earls Court plucking technique on a boozy night in Stratford. Now between that and Edgeware Road, I'm thinking Waterloo, dance moves optional but sequinned platforms a must, please.

TheReturnOfTheMaud · 25/04/2021 23:53

Sequinned platforms have long been in favour, both with me (I wear nothing else) and at

Sloane Square

lolacola77 · 25/04/2021 23:57

Fuck will someone please explain this to me?! From what I can gather, it's just random nonsense??

Ps in other news I have just lost The Game

TheReturnOfTheMaud · 26/04/2021 09:06

Random nonsense? I think not, Iolacola77! This is a game of great purpose and complexity, as I’ll demonstrate with a lateral slope to

Seven Sisters

OP posts:
BCBG · 26/04/2021 13:31

The Boston Manor defence, eh? Laid down by Great Uncle Aubrey in the great Schism of '62 I do believe - Seven Sisters gets you a free pass to Barking and @lolacola77 gets to wait in the Waterloo sidings for her training run to Chalk Farm. Having been bounced to Chigwell by some stunning play, I'm licking my wounds..

lolacola77 · 26/04/2021 13:36

Fair enough. I'm off to Goodge Street!
