I like films with a good story, and characters that are interesting rather than fitting neatly into the category of good guys or bad guys. Not into fantasy or sci-fi.

Wild Bill was really good. Gritty realistic British drama

Just coming back to say thank you to everyone for all your recommendations. Watched Molly's Game last night and enjoyed it. Definitely plan to check out many of the other films recommended on this thread.

Isn't it Romantic is fun. Manages to be a good romantic comedy and at the same time, an affectionate parody of romantic comedies.

I'm making notes on of all of the suggestions!

Second that I Care a Lot is good, Rosamond Pike is excellent in it.

I love Castaway, could watch it over and over again

Do you have Apple TV

Watched an incredible film the other day

The Mauritanian

Tough watch, incredibly acted

I've just watched this and it's really affected me. A brilliant film but what happened, I can't get my head round.
