I’ve just thought of another one - Luke Kirby as Lenny Bruce in The Marvellous Mrs Maisel - he is stand out in that - really electrifying but it turns out I’ve seen him in something else and not really noticed him !

Benedict as Sherlock absolutely. I tried to fancy him in general and I met him and he was delightful but not fanciable without the hair and the coat (I’m sure he’d be devastated to hear )

Yes to Shaun Evans as Endeavour and yes to Laurence Fox as Hathaway. Fictional detectives do it for me clearly. Haven’t attempted to rewatch Lewis since Laurence Fox became/ revealed himself to be awful so don’t know if it has affected my love of the character.

I really fancied Adam Scott in Party Down too, was too lovely to properly fancy in Parks and Rec and havent seen him be fanciable in anything else.

Costumes do it for me it seems...Cillian in jeans and t-shirt just isn't the same as Tommy Shelby in a sharp suit. Same with Rege in breeches, Aragorn and Sherlock.

It's a bit 'local', with some particularly Irish aspects but overall I think it would translate. It's really sweet, I love it. Great acting across it. Love Andrew Scott in it.
