I'll start...
Cillian Murphy only as Tommy Shelby
Viggo Mortensen only as Aragorn.

I know it's been done before but it's Sunday evening and I'm bored!

OP posts:

sharalanda I don't think they have. Totally on that. Never fancied him before; he was always a bit wet. Not big fan of bearded Rick. But early Rick... yes.

Chickoletta · 31/03/2021 21:40

Denzel Washington as Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing.

LizBennet · 31/03/2021 21:41

Ooh I loved Andrew Lincoln as Egg.

Dryadia · 31/03/2021 21:51

Jude Nelson in The Breakfast Club
Tom Cruise in Interview with a Vampire, ( but prob because I like Lestat , I prefer Stuart Townsend )
David Tennant in Dr Who, and maybe Casanova, nothing else. But so would in real life!!!!!
Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby

Nathan Fillion in Firefly, so tried to like him in Castle, liked the character but just didn't happen for me, LOL. Probably more to do with how gutted I was over there just being ONE SEASON of Firefly and the fact disney now own the rights....

AlCalavicci · 31/03/2021 22:14

I have only got to page 2 and agree with so many already but esp @whenthebellsring
Anthony Head as Uther Pendragon in Merlin. Twas his name and the way he exaggeratedly drank from his goblet. ohh that glance over the top of the goblet ! and the fact that he never took his black leather gloves off .
He can also sing !

Thecazelets · 31/03/2021 22:18

Colin Firth but only as Mr Darcy

Thecazelets · 31/03/2021 22:20

And agree about RA as Lord Blackadder...

Finally found a companion in this corner! @AlCalavicci

And that wry, knowing smile of his when he's oh so respectfully listening/talking to a Lady over dinner.

And when he's angry, bellowing out orders and talking about SORCERY!!!!

AlCalavicci · 31/03/2021 23:19

Ok caught up with the thread ,

Blackadder ? really ? it takes all sorts ! Confused Grin

All you Philp Glenister fans , his older brother Robert in Hustle ( tv series not the film ) is much better looking .

John Nettles in Bergerac oh yes - in midsommer not so much

Rupert Graves as la'strade in Sherlock ( you can keep BC ) defiantly , in swimming with men , nope .

James Marsters as Spike ( buffy ) good god yes , in anything else on screen no , but I do love his voice so listen to him on Audible a lot and his band Ghost Of The Robot

AlCalavicci · 31/03/2021 23:23

@whenthebellsring, that is certainly a big part of his charm , the gentleness he did show ( albeit rarely ) but the power he held was very . . . . . well y'know Wink

raskolnikova · 31/03/2021 23:25

@kay3

Al Pacino as a young Michael Corleone, in the Godfather Smile
This was my first thought.

And yes to Hugh Laurie in House and weirdly Adrian Dunbar in LoD too.

whenthebellsring · 31/03/2021 23:28

Oh I knowww Wink Grin

RaspberryBubblegum · 31/03/2021 23:34

Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian.
It's not even his looks, he's just such a lovely dad to baby Grogu 🙈

Lampzade · 01/04/2021 00:02

Denzel Washington in Training Day

CandyLeBonBon · 01/04/2021 00:04

@LizBennet

Ooh I loved Andrew Lincoln as Egg.
Omg Egg!

Although Tbf whathisname as his mate and Anna's on/off squeeze was my go to! Can't remember his name (can you tell?) but I've never fancied him in anything else.

Also YY to RA in blackadder 2. Phwoar!

TeensWithCrackedScreens · 01/04/2021 00:13

BlushMine are:
Mel Gibson in Mad Max (the first one)
Claire Danes in Romeo & Juliet
John Cusack in Bullets Over Broadway
Christopher Lambert (inexplicably) in Highlander
Jodie Foster in Nell

Yes to Viggo in LOTR but I don't think I have seen him in anything else.
Similarly Naveen Andrews in The English Patient. Probably I would...

Dryadia · 01/04/2021 01:28

OH yes, RA in Black Adder 2.

LunaNorth · 01/04/2021 09:08

Jack Davenport as Miles.

Gorgeous in This Life, totally unsexy in Pirates of the Caribbean.

Weird.

Gliblet · 01/04/2021 09:24

Tom Hiddleston - gloriously fanciable as Loki, basically a labrador retriever in a man's body otherwise.

notanothersaveusername · 01/04/2021 09:32

@WeeMadArthur

Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock
Ditto
IntermittentParps · 01/04/2021 09:33

David Tennant
I actually slightly fancied him in Broadchurch. Thought it was his best performance too; I'm not generally a big fan.

weirdly Adrian Dunbar in LoD too. NOT weird at all. I fancy Ted like mad. He's so capable.

Yes I had a small crush in Broadchurch too. Not a fan in any other role though.

@IntermittentParps he is very capable, isn’t he? I kind of love how rule following he is (most of the time). There’s a smoulder that suggests a wild man hiding in there Grin I love him in full uniform with the hat on.
IntermittentParps · 01/04/2021 10:39

AgentCooper, I like it when he puts his uniform outside jacket on

Actors that you only fancy in one role
AgentCooper · 01/04/2021 10:47

@IntermittentParps ooh aye. We’re just finishing up season 5 and see when he went a bit rogue and went undercover? It was 100% Hastings in charge. Even in the sensible anorak. Totally in control. Oof.
