Jennifer Arcuri's affair with Boris Johnson in the Sunday Mirror

I wonder how much has been paid for the story? Read it briefly on the website, wonder about the timing, and of course realise the main issue is Boris Johnson not declaring the business/personal relationship.

His behaviour since is typical of his attitude towards women. Sad that she did not know what he was like, perhaps he targeted her because as someone new to the country was less likely to know what he is like.

I think Carrie Symonds has her own reasons for staying in this relationship, and none of them romantic.

She probably thinks Boris won't dump her or cheat because it would look bad. I don't think I'd have her confidence that this is the case.,

He didn’t care about looking bad before becoming PM, now he’s achieved his goal he’s probably even less inclined to preserve his image!

Well someone is usually the last so maybe that will be her.

If it makes any difference to people’s idea that she was merely a poor daft American who didn’t realise Boris is a womanising arsehole, looking at the timeline it may well be that Jennifer was herself having an affair in which boris was the OM. At least for part of that time.

The real issue is, of course, the money and failing to declare interests. And all of that is on Boris Johnson. It’s not about affairs in and of themselves.
