Jennifer Arcuri's affair with Boris Johnson in the Sunday Mirror

I wonder how much has been paid for the story? Read it briefly on the website, wonder about the timing, and of course realise the main issue is Boris Johnson not declaring the business/personal relationship.

His behaviour since is typical of his attitude towards women. Sad that she did not know what he was like, perhaps he targeted her because as someone new to the country was less likely to know what he is like.

Once again he'll be fine, jolly old Boris, bit of a rogue 🙄

I honestly don't understand how he gets so many women to sleep with him 🤢

malaboi · 28/03/2021 14:02

I don't understand how he attracts these young, attractive & intelligent women!

ancientgran · 28/03/2021 14:06

@Palavah

Since when do we use 'tomcat' to describe a pervy man who is a serial cheat?

Whilst it's very very unpleasant I agree it's not the main concern while he's corrupt and leading the government

I think that was how his wife at the time referred to him.

I agree the main issue is the corruption, well it is for the country obviously for his wife the personal mattered.

DH and I were talking about it earlier.
We came to the conclusion that the great British public will forgive him and it won’t affect his popularity.
He is a sleazy cunt though

babbaloushka · 28/03/2021 14:21

@TheWashingMachine

I'm sorry I do not think Boris Johnson is a racist, homophobic, nasty man. I don't think he is a great prime minister but he is a libertarian.
Have you ever read ANYTHING he has written? He's not the bumbling fool he makes himself out to be. He's nasty and manipulative.
groundcontroltomontydon · 28/03/2021 14:32

he is a libertarian
That doesn't mean what he thinks it means

FoxyTheFox · 28/03/2021 14:45

Bumbling Fool is his public persona to make the public love him, its a con - "look at me, I'm an affable scallywag who puts his foot in it sometimes just like you do, call me Boris, man of the people, blah blah pile of wank blah". I know people who voted for the Conservatives for the sole reason of "Boris is so funny".

HeartsAndClubs · 28/03/2021 14:50

If funds have been misappropriated then that should be investigated officially.

Who he does and doesn’t have sex with doesn’t concern me in the slightest. And anyone who sells their story of being the OW shagging a married man is a bit grim anyway. Who cares.

Kimchidreams · 28/03/2021 14:52

@C130

He is a racist, homophobic, nasty man. He is a man of questionable morals.
This!
PanamaPattie · 28/03/2021 14:52

Meh. Who really cares?

Kimchidreams · 28/03/2021 14:58

The main issue here is him spending £126k of taxpayers money on his mistress and taking her on official trips, supporting her startup without declaring the shagging etc.

Kimchidreams · 28/03/2021 15:11

@AlexaNeverListens and @TheWashingMachine He is a racist and most definitely a colonialist. Have you read the things he has written and said?
Here are some of them
-“It is said that the Queen has come to love the Commonwealth, partly because it supplies her with regular cheering crowds of flag-waving piccaninnies”.
-“No doubt the AK47s will fall silent, and the pangas will stop their hacking of human flesh, and the tribal warriors will all break out in watermelon smiles to see the big white chief touch down in his big white British taxpayer-funded bird”
-“The best fate for Africa would be if the old colonial powers, or their citizens, scrambled once again in her direction; on the understanding that this time they will not be asked to feel guilty.”
-“A bunch of black kids made me turn a hair. If that is racial prejudice, then I am guilty“

He is meant to be the Prime Minister of the whole country and all it’s citizens(regardless of race), but I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him when he’s comfortable spouting this crap publicly. Christ knows what he says behind closed doors.

Bluntness100 · 28/03/2021 15:13

Oh cmon, she didn’t know what he was like? They are two adults, they had an affair she gladly took what she could from it and she’s still going on about it. Hardly some innocent little victim. In this they are both guilty.

AllTheWayFromLondonDAMN · 28/03/2021 15:16

If you can’t trust a man to be honest about the amount of children he’s supporting then you can’t trust him in high office or with public money. His character is incredibly questionable. This is no shock.

Iamthewombat · 28/03/2021 15:25

I choose to tell you this truth about our intimate relationship now, because I realised I will not be defined by this scandal anymore.

Oh COME ON Jennifer! How better to define yourself by this scandal than...er...doing a kiss & tell in a Sunday tabloid?

Actually I think that he behaved worse than she did.

When this story broke a couple of years ago and they were both pretending that they were just friends, business colleagues who hit it off after he awarded Jennifer the grant and took her on a few trips in her capacity as a tech entrepreneur, nothing to see here, no, move along please, the detail emerged that she had a pole in her flat that she used to entertain her platonic mate and business associate Boris by dancing around.

What could be more normal than that?

HermitsLife · 28/03/2021 15:32

Well she earned every one of those £126,000, the though of it makes me drier than the Sahara Envy

PerkingFaintly · 28/03/2021 15:46

Yeah, I don't care if he's had affairs. It's not exactly a sign of honesty, but if he had integrity in his work it's that I'd be employing him for.

It's the lack of integrity in his work that's the problem. The sexual incontinence is just a symptom of his fundamental flaws.

lljkk · 28/03/2021 15:49

Timeline, highlights of BJ's sex life.
The worst thing is .. you know how very incomplete that time line is, don't you?

PurpleBiro21 · 28/03/2021 15:50

This again and again and again.

I don’t like to whataboutery but if Sadiq Khan, Corbyn, Teresa May had his sleazy personal life they wouldn’t have got anywhere near high office.

Can you imagine the tabloid outrage? People would be apoplectic with disgust and rage at the disrespect etc etc.

CuthbertDibbleandGrubb · 28/03/2021 15:57

@malaboi it is noticeable that most of them are vulnerable in some way, or as in Jennifer Arcuri's case, new to the country and so could be genuinely unaware of his past.

@Kimchidreams he did not need to declare the sex, just that he had visited her business premises (which happen to be her home).

@babbaloushka agree, ask him about his former friend Darius Guppy and his response to a BBC journalist.

Aside from the misuse of public money, my main concern is that there will never be much done to improve the safety of women when a misogynist is Prime Minister. Just as little will be done to improve those from ethnic minorities given his use of racist language.

@SwitchUp

He requested racy images of her and said one raunchy picture was “enough to make a bishop kick a hole in a stained-glass window”.

💀💀💀

Not read full thread, so apologies if anybody has said this already, but this is a quote from Raymond Chandler.

Absolutely.

He is unfit for office.

^ This . and lying about it all publicly

First Meghan, now Jennifer. Why do we keep being asked to believe that American women in their mid 30s dont google the public figures with whom they are potentially romantically involved?
