What do you buy your dc for Easter?

I tend to go a bit over board as i think I compensate for not having any family members involved to buy my dc anything at Easter time

I always tend to buy them one chocolate egg each, a small toy, and then some small eggs to do an Easter egg hunt with

This year I’ve got two bags of chocolate rabbits for them to hunt, I’ll get them an egg each as usual, but then I’m thinking of getting them a colouring book instead of a toy to try and cut down on costs

Dc are 6 and 8 (or at least will be 8 by the time Easter approaches)

Mine always used to do an Easter egg hunt either at a national trust property and / or in the back garden now they're 13 and 15 they're just getting one large Easter egg and a Lindt bunny each

its the only thing i ve ever been inspired by mil - is to buy a little something at easter...usually when younger it was a dressing up costume and eggs of course or a book, new game..nothing wildly OTT, no second xmas but a small gift.
This year its a new outfit each and broach for older DD and about 4 eggs each they also get zilch from anyone else

We do an egg hunt.
Few Easter eggs.
Book.
Toy.
Oh and a slide this year 😂.

1 egg (usually the £1.99 cadbury ones), one lint bunny and a £5 pack of cheapo eggs to do a hunt with.

lindt bunny, not lint. That's be grim.

We have a lot of those empty plastic eggs and we normally do about 20 age appropriate clues each with a pound coin and small things like Lindt mini eggs inside. Then a bigger prize at the end - a large egg, and a decent gift - used to be something like a Lego set and a soft toy but more often now a video game or something. Sometimes vouchers too for a day out/activity.
