Twelly, that's an absurd statement to make about Morgan, he's close to deranged on the MM subject. Defending the indefensible is not a good look. Don't do it. And don't whinge, it's irritating.

Whilst piers Morgan may be able to survive without a jobs for a while those in most other jobs can't. It is so easy to accuse someone of being a racist and people will be so scared if this that I think people will limit their conversation and possibly there will be less and less discussion between people with different backgrounds for fear of upset. I think that is the opposite of a more open and integrated society

It wasn’t about racism. It was about the fact that he accused Meghan of lying over the fact she had felt suicidal. Or is that ok now?

Ofcom received 41000 complaints after Monday’s programme. that is the second highest number of complaints in ofcom’s history.

Personally I think the only attention Piers Morgan now deserves is no attention. If people just stop giving him the attention he craves then perhaps he will fuck off back into obscurity.

Looking on Alex's twitter, most people are backing Piers. I was shocked. There is so much hatred for Meghan out there and also towards Alex now, twisting what he has said on his tweets.

I dont believe is necessarily all about racism but a lot of just general bullying however racism is definitely a part of it. Lots of comments about has she forgotten she's half white, if someone had asked if he was ginger would you have made a fuss, she's not even black look at her skin etc etc. Nothing has been learnt from last years events at all. It is all from people who insist they are not racist.

I do think it sounded personal and that was not acceptable but it has been turned into a row about racism. I stand by the point that I think the latest issues and the fallout will mean that people will avoid conversation about race outside their house for fear of racist allegations being made. In my opinion that is not a good thing, by discussing issues people explain what they think and why they think it.

I find it astounding that people can hate a woman they've never met and probably never will, they think they know every single detail about her when actually all they know is the picture Morgan and his media vultures paint. He couldn't stop bullying one woman, he had an agenda against her, he preached hate daily until Alex called him out on his pathetic rants. He should have been sacked ages ago but at last he's gone and has made a proper twat of himself.
Everyone has feelings and being subjected to a barrage of abuse on an almost daily basis is foul, how would Morgan or anyone else like it, no they wouldn't but love dishing out the hate and bile
Trolls and bullies have caused suicides already just look at the headlines today, more disgusting trolling this time towards 'Tracy Beaker, people should be ashamed of themselves!

I don't agree with a lot of what Piers Morgan says but listening to the row he had and the points he made he expressed an opinion, I agree that in this case it sounded personal but I do not believe he was racist or misogynistic. He is bold and challenges, we need people who do this in the media, he often speaks what people at home are thinking.

Wow, the Piers Morgan fans are out in force then.

Have a look at yourselves. Drop the race thing. He. Is. A. Bully.

And he has been using his platform to bully MM endlessly. On Twitter, on this breakfast show, and most importantly in the vile DMail. She stopped taking his calls. His ego could not stand it and he has run a personal vendetta against her since. And it's been years of this.

He was sacked because he took it too far by saying he doesn't believe she had suicidal thoughts. So there we are... a very famous person saying that he doesn't believe. Can you even begin to imagine how that would impact on people who are in a very dark place at the moment? They will think that no one will believe them. It was a truly abhorrent thing to say to score points in his personal vendetta. The impact on people who are struggling could well be immense.

Thank God he has gone.

I am not particularly on one side or another with all of this but having moved countries myself, I do think it is entirely credible, that a woman who is pregnant, in a new environment, having vile rhetoric spoken about her almost daily on national tv, and awful stories appearing in the press, with her own family selling stories to the press about her, feels close to suicidal. I think we've all overlooked that because she has a personality that appears to be very strong and together.

PM is a bully. He's carried on his vendetta against MM for several years now. To now say she is lying about having felt suicidal is appalling. He's in complete denial about his own behaviour and that of others who have constantly criticised her, embroidered or just made up stories to suit their anti-Meghan narrative.
