Funny (but not surprising) how Alex the Weatherman, came across as the most intelligent, most articulate, most measured, most moral and most calm person in the whole debate.

He needs to be moved to the front line work - he can assess, listen and respond, and is clearly not intimidated by Morgan. As for Charlotte and Suzanna - they have colluded to become wallpaper decoration for Morgan - zero credibility.

Charlotte is a very bright, intelligent woman. When she's interviewed she fawns over Piers. Susanna too (although she's more of an empty vessel).

Laura who does the weather is very bright as well and Morgan often makes comments about her appearance and her legs before now and she laughs it off and plays up to it like a secretary in Mad Men.

He's surrounded by these women who toady to him every morning and he hates it when someone like Alex comes on and isn't intimidated by him.

Well, they are dynamiting their own careers. Intelligent woman don't comply with an eejit like Morgan or sit silent when bullying rampaging irrational men tear into 'guests'.
They are hardly putting themselves in the position to present Newsnight or Radio 4 in the morning.
They are selling themselves short and not behaving like they are skilled intelligent people - just like they are studio decor.

To be fair Hmminteresting that wasn’t him, that was the News Of The World. He was guilty of phone hacking other people, of insider trading and of publishing faked photos defaming British soldiers though.

Totally. I'm an ardent Republican. Can't wait to see the back of the lot of them. I watched the interview with Oprah last night (much to DH's horror) and on the back of that watched Morgan this morning.

What an eye opener.
These are definitely 'presenters', not 'journalists'. But Alex was easily the star of the show - calmly presenting Morgan's butt back to him - seconds before Morgan walked off humiliated.
His face was a picture of 'smacked arise' for the rest of the broadcast.
Meanwhile - Alex calming reads the weather forecast 😂😂
