Is The Thumbs Up On Messenger Dismissive?

Sometimes I have really made an effort with my posts & then someone responds with a thumbs up. I hate it! Does anyone think it’s dismissive or a bit lazy?

Can someone please tell me why I shouldn't use the crying laughing emoji 🤣

I absolutely despise the thumbs up - it's crass - and whenever I ask why they do it they say "I didn't have time to respond"- well then write something when you have time ! They may as well lol just say who cares -

Ffs this threads over a year old. How do people find these to resurrect them 🙄
