This isn't a royal family bashing thread..just interested to know how people would vote once the Queen has died and the was a vote on whether to keep the royal family or not.. a simple yes ( to keep ) or no.

Yes, the family generate tourism which helps keep businesses running and people in their jobs

I have no idea how Charles wasn't forced to give up the throne due to cheating on his wife, when his uncle had to give it up just for wanting to marry a divorced woman.

It would cost us as much, if not more, to have elected representatives (which we would have to have) and the Royal Family are a HUGE tourism pull.

No idea why people think we'd be better off without them unless they don't understand those two facts.

Get rid of the bloated House of Lords too. It's an affront to tax payers. Paying 800+ £3-5,000 a month to do sweet fa.
