Grin I hope you have a cancel button

AlfonsoTheTerrible · 02/03/2021 20:18

My sympathies, OP!

GroveStreet · 02/03/2021 20:20

I do not. There's quite a big load in though, so hopefully no damage Shock

Are you pregnant? I put the peanuts in the fridge when pregnant. DH was looking for tgem all night.

MorvaanReed · 02/03/2021 20:23

Once, when very tired after a night shift, I was having a cup of tea and biscuits before falling into bed.

I dropped a biscuit on the floor, walked into the kitchen, threw my half full mug of tea in the bin and the biscuit in the sink.

You are not alone. Flowers

GroveStreet · 02/03/2021 20:34

No! I have been really absentminded recently, but definitely not pregnant.

The tea in the bin must have been awful, especially after night shift!

I called a client this morning and then thanked them for calling. I hung up swiftly.

Nameandgamechange123 · 02/03/2021 20:56

I put a washing machine capsule in the dishwasher recently and then on the same day, closed the cupboard door on my nose

gingerandsmall · 02/03/2021 21:09

Don't worry, I put a washing liquid pod in the tumble dryer the other day!

GetTheStartyParted · 02/03/2021 21:13

I made DD's sandwiches once, but she couldn't find them when packing her lunch.

Turns out that straight after making them, I threw them in the bin.

AlfonsoTheTerrible · 03/03/2021 08:01

Now I feel better for the time I put the milk in the cupboard and the coffee in the refrigerator.

BikeRunSki · 03/03/2021 08:06

I once put the remote control for the TV in my work bag and put my phone in the fridge. Didn’t realise until I got to work. Iwas seven months pregnant though.

Whenwillow · 03/03/2021 08:06

I went to put the kettle in the fridge yesterday.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 03/03/2021 14:38

I was making a much needed coffee and poured boiling water into the jar instead of my mug last week
Luckily I had a spare jar!

Whenwillow · 03/03/2021 14:42

Oh I did that once @uncomfortablydumb53 😂

CurlsLDN · 03/03/2021 14:46

I opened a pouch of cat food and squeezed it straight into the bin instead of the bowl.

The cat was not amused.

SomeLikeItTepid · 03/03/2021 14:53

The last two times I've driven to the supermarket I have forgotten to take my purse with me.

AlfonsoTheTerrible · 04/03/2021 11:45

Twice I have made a chicken stock and poured it down the sink, rather than straining it into a new container.

Titsywoo · 04/03/2021 11:46

Yesterday I put some ice in my glass then instead of filling the glass from the tap I poured water from the just boiled kettle into it

dotdashdashdash · 04/03/2021 11:58

@AlfonsoTheTerrible

Twice I have made a chicken stock and poured it down the sink, rather than straining it into a new container.
I've done that before! And then you are left with all the bits, and non of the stock
spiderlight · 04/03/2021 12:02

I once came home from walking the dogs, hung up two bags of poo in the hall, dashed back out the front and caught myself just as I was about to put the leads in the bin. I was rushing because the bin lorry was coming down the road and I would have been so cross if the leads had ended up in the back of it!

hellohelpfuladvice · 04/03/2021 12:07

Found a whole fresh broccoli in the freezer after yesterday's supermarket run. The other one was in the fruit bowl. Very tired baby who's actually one, wakes up for night parties 3-4am.

x2boys · 04/03/2021 12:30

I boiled the kettle for hot water to make pasta on the hob waited five minutes for it to boil than filled the pan up with cold water from the tap .

Dinky2004 · 04/03/2021 12:40

Not long after I had DD and the morning after a horrendous night with her my 10yr old DS came into the kitchen to find me stood at the fridge crying because the big box of cornflakes just wouldn't fit back in.
He took them from me and put them back in the cupboard where he found the milk 😂
Bless him he made me go and sit down whilst he made me a cup of tea
They are now 23 and 13 and this moment is still talked about.

Squirrel26 · 04/03/2021 12:44

Yesterday in my office at work I got my mug out, put coffee and sugar in it, put the mug on the desk, picked up a paperweight and took it to the kitchen. Hmm
