What's your favourite wfh lunch

I'm after new ideas. I've never been good at bringing lunch to work (absolute fortune since wfh)

Working from home however, I get bored easily and either end up with a cooked something, normally egg, or bacon sandwiches or I pick pick pick all day.

My favourite days are when my meetings are timed just right around lunch, to pop down early enough to put jacket potatoes in, but not at risk of not being able to check on them. Served with tuna mayo or beans and cheese.

Ham, cheese and pickle sandwich on nice bread
Spinach, avocado, cucumber, tomato and hot smoked salmon
Cheese and bean toasties
Warm chicken salad with feta
Sausage and caramelised onion chutney in a baguette

Dippy eggs and soldiers! I feel 5 again.

@Pizzaandgarlicdip Agreed - once I realised how much better the gyoza are when you pan fry them, as opposed to boiling them. Also they're very low calorie so I don't feel too bad when I eat them!

Are the gyoza from normal supermarkets??

I have pretty much the same at home as I would take to the office.....soup, bagels with smoked salmon & scrambled egg, the other half of last night's dinner, occasionally sandwiches or wraps....mmm you've got me thinking about jacket potatoes now though!

Today it was a bacon sandwich. Currently making a curry for tomorrow (I like to have a day off from cooking at the weekend)
Other than that I have Scrambled egg on toast or beans on toast. Jacket spud. Crusty bread and ham.

Orzo Greek pasta salad, homemade frittata, soups. My favourite is premade gyoza, I buy them frozen and just make the dipping sauce

I've been having a tortilla wrap, tomato puree, mozzarella & chorizo slices = oven 5 mins mini pizza

Leftover dinner from the night before is my favourite lunch

Scrambled egg with tinned mackerel in different sauces. Quick and cheap.

It's usually soup - with the bread crusts nobody else in the family will eat.

I often do a quiche, that's nice with soup.

It was sandwiches for a while but I'm off them now.

We've been enjoying wraps (the tictok wrap hack thing)

1. Veggie slice ham
2. Coleslaw and spring onions
3. Cheese
4. Cucumber slices

Really tasty!

I've just googled the tik tok wrap trick. Must try that immediately!

RubysArms - they make a nice change from our usual sandwichs or rolls.
Is you have something wet, like coleslaw, make sure you put it in a section where both sides have a fold - that way it doesn't leak out

Jacket potatoes (thrown in the oven when I make my 10:30 brew)
Stir fry
Soup put in the slow cooker at breakfast time
Fish finger sandwich with roast tomatoes
Omelette (often with smoked fish)
Beans on toast

I like warm meals!

Love beans on toast with 2rashers of bacon.

I like to toast crumpets cut them in half and make a bacon and egg roll type thing

I have fishfinger wraps a lot. Spread the wrap with anything spreadable - cream cheese/pesto/hummus/ creme fraiche etc, chop up any salad veg lying around, it’s delicious every time.

The frozen Itsu gyozas and bao buns. I have to stop myself from buying them too often or I can eat a whole bag to myself

I so want to say salad, but we actually have this exact thing at least 3 times a week.

Marmite spaghetti. (A Nigella creation!)
