Up until the last year or so I would have told DH to fight for DS1 (not his biological son) so he stays with him and his younger brother. DH knew this anyway, there would always be a risk DS's dad could try and take him but I wanted DH to fight for him to be stable in what he knew - school etc. I don't worry so much now, DS is on the verge of adulthood and will make his own mind up!

Sorry for your loss @weebarra. I don’t tend to wear accessories, let alone coordinate them, but I promise I’ll make a one-off special effort in your friend’s memory next time I leave the house.

Scatter my ashes in the river down in the village - by the two weirs that I have already hand built myself using boulders and rocks!

My death bed instruction will be do not allow anyone to come and gawp at me in my coffin. DH and DD are very aware of this, and I even had it put in my will.
