Before I have a mental breakdown, how can I unclog my toilet?

Toilet is completely unsuable, we're isolating, no volunteers to help today and I'm having my period, so need the toilet regularly :(

I unblocked mine recently. It was just masses of loo roll but I used the wire coat hanger method detailed above and a plunger and just kept getting bits of the loo roll out and putting it in a plastic bag. I thought at first we would need a plumber but it worked in the end. I made DH take the bag to a public bin...

Just a reminder as if you need it things such as wipes even those marked flushable are not.
3 ply toilet paper or the quilted sort can cause blockages as it doesn't dissolve as quickly as cheaper paper.
Nothing should go down the toilet othr than paper and poo
