Why would you ruin a modern flat by 'designing' it like this:

www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/99660857#/

There are actual marble/stone pillars in the bedroom and even wrought iron garden furniture in the bathroom for when you decide to have your neighbours over for a cuppa while you wash your bits!

Remembered! The Brothers Quay! Google them, everything will make sense Grin

SquirrelFan · 10/02/2021 21:31

@ComtesseDeSpair Okay, I just googled them. Now I know what lives in The Void!!!!

Acovic · 10/02/2021 21:32

It's not modern and it's not newly converted (done in the 90s, I think).

It's also been up for sale.

It's very cottagecore. I wouldn't want it but think it's kind of cute for someone who likes the vintage style

Oh right!

Doesn't Andrew Scott live in that part of town?

PerfidiousAlbion · 10/02/2021 22:01

It's not to my taste but it makes a refreshing change from the mass of ubiquitous botanical feature walls and grey dining kitchens with bi-fold doors. I'd love to meet the person who designed it.

longdressed · 10/02/2021 22:03

I absolutely love it Grinhaving said that the whole minimalist grey thing is my worst nightmare

jambeforeclottedcream · 10/02/2021 23:10

@DartmoorChef

I would like to see real photos not silly filters
Is this why it looks like an impressionist painting???

I kinda like it but it's a bit much for a rental

jambeforeclottedcream · 10/02/2021 23:13

@tilder

Is it being let furnished? What a nightmare when sorting out damage, repairs, deposits whdn the tenant leaves.
Rented a house with lots of nick knacks once. The inventory was a nightmare was 20 pages long. Luckily there was a large attic so stashed it all up there
pumpkinbump · 11/02/2021 04:23

I like it apart from the dried flowers.

TheRealCherHorowitz · 11/02/2021 07:11

I really like it. It’s very 90s though...I think we’ll look back on houses like Mrs Hinch’s in 30 years time in exactly the same way.

Eeeeeeeeeeeek · 11/02/2021 07:42

I like it, it would be like living in a fairy tale. I would skip round in my pinny with little birds singing on my shoulder helping do my house work

NatashaAlianovaRomanova · 11/02/2021 07:45

The Christmas bedding is jarring against... well everything else.

If you bought that flat you would be in a state of continual disappointment every time you stepped outside and realised you are actually not living in a vineyard in the south of Italy but dull old dirty London instead. 😂

darklady64 · 11/02/2021 10:20

I think I love it! But as somewhere to stay for 2 weeks' holiday from time to time so that someone else could do all the dusting! I would love to live in one of the warehouses.

I feel like Mrs Hinch's house is already dated
