Why would you ruin a modern flat by 'designing' it like this:

www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/99660857#/

There are actual marble/stone pillars in the bedroom and even wrought iron garden furniture in the bathroom for when you decide to have your neighbours over for a cuppa while you wash your bits!

My God. I can usually look past decor but that is truly hideous 🤢

megletthesecond · 10/02/2021 20:29

Kaptain is it a bit 'changing rooms isn't it.

ktp100 · 10/02/2021 20:32

That is BATSHIT!

I think I kinda love it for it though!

I'm bored of cream or grey everything. At least there's something to look at (and when I say something, I mean 800 things.......per square metre)

2 and half grand a month!!!!

Fuuuuckk oooooofffff!!!!

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 10/02/2021 20:33

The photos look as if there’s trompe l’oeil painting. The clock and other bits don’t look real.

Lelophants · 10/02/2021 20:34

It's so nice!!

GoryGilmore · 10/02/2021 20:35

I love it! It is a bit strange to see that style in a flat in London, but I think it’s refreshing to see something that isn’t all grey and modernised. Wouldn’t want to have to clean it though.

Popsy321 · 10/02/2021 20:41

I'm more irritated by the letting agents description........It's very unique indeed 😤 It's either bloody unique or it's not.

Roadtohades · 10/02/2021 20:41

Love it! Star Glitterball

Mummyoflittledragon · 10/02/2021 20:41

It looks like one of the futuristic tv shows and films, where most humans have become extinct and the flora and fauna is taking over. Total cognitive dissonance at the fact it’s just been refurbed.

cheeseismydownfall · 10/02/2021 20:42

I want to know what is in The Void Grin

PyongyangKipperbang · 10/02/2021 20:45

Its nice to look at but I couldnt live there at all. Like a PP, imagine the dust that would accumulate on the dried plants.

Staffy1 · 10/02/2021 20:48

Is that a dead creeper all over the house? It's ugly inside and out.

toocold54 · 10/02/2021 20:54

Is it just me or are there a lot of Jesus pictures!

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 10/02/2021 20:54

I don't think anyone who puts wrought iron furniture in a bathroom has ever sat on it when naked. It is almost inevitable to get bits 'snagged' on it... and you won't forget that in a hurry. Shock

Onlinedilema · 10/02/2021 20:55

I agree with mummy looks kind of overgrown. Very odd filters/camera angles.

ChronicallyCurious · 10/02/2021 20:56

Omg not to my taste at all, I love marble and velvet and white and grey but.... I LOVE it

DollyMixtureLulus · 10/02/2021 20:56

Shock Oh!

Not what I thought I was going to see Hmm

Maybe it is for people who want to reenact Mamma Mia, or the Durrells.

Wanderbust · 10/02/2021 20:59

I think I love it. As long as I didn't have to clean it!

The top floor is a mezzanine I think, you can see the balcony rails in the bathroom shots, so "the void" is just the extra space when you look over.

TheVampiresWife · 10/02/2021 20:59

I absolutely adore it. Might darken the walls a bit, though. Lovely jewel toned burgundies and greens.

My exMIL lived in a 1980s terraced council house and she put fake 'oak' beams on all the ceilings (MDF painted brown) and put in a huge stone fireplace, except the 'stones' were also MDF which she splodged with brown and grey paint. She put this self adhesive grey tape stuff on the windows to make them look like they had small leaded panes - sadly the white uPVC didn't really add much in the way of authenticity. She, however, loved it and had a sign made for the front door that said 'The Cottage'.

Not sure why this flat reminded me of that!

PattyPan · 10/02/2021 21:00

Wow. They certainly picked a style and ran with it! From the photos I think the bathroom isn’t fully enclosed with walls as it’s got that fence as if it’s a balcony and the void might be where you can look down from above into the living room?

SleepingStandingUp · 10/02/2021 21:02

i love it and i would rent it. if i lived alone. in london. and earned enough to pay £2.5K a MONTH!!!!!!!

Whatsnewpussyhat · 10/02/2021 21:08

Why would you paint effect your walls and ceilings to make it look nicotine stained.

Looks ridiculous, especially as it's furnished and you had to put up with the crap furniture.

LunaHeather · 10/02/2021 21:13

I'm honestly confused if some items are real or painted on.

CatsAndDogsAndHorses · 10/02/2021 21:19

I’m almost disappointed by The Void™️

ComtesseDeSpair · 10/02/2021 21:23

If I’m not mistaken, it’s a relatively famous artist’s apartment, I’m certain I’ve seen it previously up for sale, or featured in a magazine. Can’t remember exactly who. Similar profile to the Connors Brothers, I think.
