If you are 5’5 or 5’6 what size shoe are you?

Just that really. Always felt like I’m out of proportion so thought I’d see if I am abnormal or not..

5 ft 5 and shoe size 4. Feel incredibly smug whenever I can get shoes at children's prices

I’m 5’5 and a 7 or 8 depending on the shop/shoe, also often need the special ‘wide’ fit too 🙄I see I’m not completely alone but this thread is definitely confirming I’m supposed to be a 5 or a 6 😭 i always feel really self-conscious and like everyone is staring at how huge my feet look (even though they’re probably not)

Just under 5’4 and a size 9. Something definitely went wrong there...

I've noticed very overweight kids often have huge feet. My friend 5 stone overweight & grew up plump, is 5'6" and her feet are quite substantially larger than my already larger feet (I am taller but never so heavy). I don't think big feet is anything to be upset by, I just suspect it can be a byproduct of very overweight adolescence.

Was always a 7, randomly dropped to a 5, now 5 in a shoe, 6 in a runner.
Am just shy of 5ft7

1. I've had size 7 feet since I was 10yo. Now that was out of proportion.

OP you're not supposed to be any particular size, please don't feel that 7 or 8 is too big.
My mum is my height and a size 9.
SIL is my height and a size 8.5
Other SIL is 5ft4 and has size 7 feet.

I'm 5ft6 was always a size 5 but since my second pregnancy I am now a size 6.

5.5 and anything between 7, 7.5 or 8 depending on brand.

I’m that height and am a small 8 (EU 41)
My feet are narrow.
I’ve had a couple of comments about how big my feet are over the years. I assume people are jealous because size 8s are often left over in the sales, and tell them not to be envious as I can’t help it
I also have large hands (glove size 7.5)

Usually a 4, sometimes a 3 or 5, depending on the brand.

7, or an 8 in running shoes.

It is strangely comforting to know there are so many with size 7+ feet!

Always felt ashamed as 6ft girl with size 9/10.

Fun fact - Kate Winslet is 5’4 with size 10’s.

I agree , I find it hard to find smartish shoes in 7 or 8 .

5"5.5 I wear a 5 in regular shoes, 6 in trainers.

I’m 5ft 6 and a size 6.5 shoe unless it’s a slim fit and I’ll have to go up to a 7

5ft 6, size 4. My feet are wide though.
