What film should we watch tonight?

Me, Dh, Ds15 and Ds11.

Saturday night is family night, where the teenager graces us with his presence.
We've got Netflix, Disney+, Amazon prime (don't judge, it's lockdown)

We've done Star Wars and Marvel to death.

Ideas PLEASE so we don't sit scrolling and bickering. Thank you! Smile

Yes, we enjoyed Enola Holmes (ds1 thinks Millie Bobby Brown is fit, which helpedSmile)

We watched 42 last night and it was fab, it's about Jackie Robinson (first black man to play in Major League Baseball) some 😳😳 dialogue but a good watch to get an idea of how hard it must have been to start desegregation

mamaduckbone · 06/02/2021 18:42

Greenland has gone to the bottom of the list as it's £20 to buy on PrimeShock

fedup2017 · 06/02/2021 18:44

Don't watch parasite with an 11 year old!!!!
I love it.... It's one of my faves.... And 80% of the film is ok ..... However some is definitely not....
I haven't watched it with my 13 year old yet and I'm very chill generally about sec and violence

OohKittens · 06/02/2021 18:44

We watched it this morning and it was free (prime)

Ninkanink · 06/02/2021 18:45

Oops sorry missed the 11 year old.....thought it was teenagers!

Yeah I wouldn’t recommend that either then.

midsomermurderess · 06/02/2021 18:46

The Dig seems to be worth a watch, going by reviews.

Shehasadiamondinthesky · 06/02/2021 18:47

Ioved the dig.

Impatientwino · 06/02/2021 18:47

Yikes! What’s in it?!?
fedup2017 · 06/02/2021 19:48

@NewSummer
I cant really say what's in it as.....Spoilers!.... But suitable for 15 plus( even if not easily flustered).
It's a FANTASTIC film though so watch it if you can.

NotPennysBoat · 06/02/2021 19:59

Do not watch Parasite with an 11yo!

Sometimesonly · 06/02/2021 20:02

We watched The Dig with two 11 year olds - one loved it, other gave up halfway as it was soooooo boring apparently. I liked it.

mamaduckbone · 06/02/2021 20:11

We've gone for Greenland (and yes, free on prime) Gerard Butler looks more gnarly than I imagined.
