Today, I had to give a speech at work. New job. Hardly slept a wink, but managed it, phew.

I baked and decorated a treasure chest cake for Dd1’s 8th birthday tomorrow. I can’t wait to see her face when she sees it, she’s been going on about it for weeks!

I attempted reaching out for help from the bleak darkness of my soul. It didn't work and I very definitely don't feel any better for it, but I tried.

Due to GAD it takes a few days to gear myself up to go shopping at any shop other than my regular one. I had 2 texts last week reminding me I needed to get my antidepressants. I have 2 days left. Today I managed to go to my local chemist and also did it with a face mask on. One day I might even go to my local sainsbury's but that'll probably be after covid.

And.... today is a new day.... meet you all here tonight for an update 😘

I feel like I’m suffering alone but I can see I’m not. Anxiety and agitation through the roof. Poor children.

Sorry- shouldn’t have posted and don’t think I can delete. There was nothing positive in that and this is supposed to be positive thread. I am managing to teach a maths lesson. I’ve washed my daughter’s hair. I will cook a meal of some sort.

I walked for half an hour
I got my work finished early
I got a great report back from work on how I'm doing
I built a shoe rack
I made a new recipe using a tonne of veg!

I've almost done the first row of my first big crochet project - a blanket for dd2. I'm confused by the instructions to join the second colour at the end of the row, but I'll work it out when I get there :)
