Would you think :
A, He just wanted to be friends
B, He wanted to become a couple with this woman

Please, if you take the trouble to answer this, don't overthink it.
I'm after your initial reactions. A or B?

Well if it came out of the blue and nothing had ever happened between them I'd say A. If it's B that's one very full on and clumsy attempt to start a relationship.

I've done all three with a male friend (holiday/ he moved into mine/ we flat hunted together and split a flat) really common in your younger years (twenties) it seems odder as you get older mainly as most people are settling down as couples having kids.

It can lead to coupledom but just as easily not.
