... that we could all watch please?
I'm out of ideas. We never watch tv as a family and it would be lovely to find something that everyone would enjoy. Not war or horror based but open till any other suggestions, old or new. Thanks!

I'd say Hunt for the Wilderpeople too. It's a delight.

My teenagers and I were blown away by ‘sorry to bother you’ recently. We’ve also recently enjoyed ‘three billboards’, ‘Fargo’ original film (although series very good too), ‘invention of lying’, ‘ferris buelers day off’ and even ‘back to the future’.

lechatnoir · 23/01/2021 21:51

Couldn't see it mentioned so apologies if I missed it but amazed at the lack of recommendations for Forest Gump but also second Truman Show, Hunger Games, Clueless (ds15 moaned but secretly enjoyed it) Blind Side, Lion, Lost Boys, Ferris Bueller, Juno

Recent successes are music based/focused such as Bohemian rhapsody, Blinded by the Light, Little Voice, Walk the Line & Yesterday

Annasgirl · 23/01/2021 23:07

Also want to recommend ‘It’s a beautiful day in the neighbourhood’ with Tom Hank’s.

Catch me if you can (one of favourite films ever!)
Apollo 13
Forrest Gump
Indiana Jones
Mission impossible
James Bond
Jason Bourne series
About a boy
Paddington 2 is amazing whatever age you are

NCTDN · 14/02/2021 22:31

Ok so the favourite so far (that they both watched the whole thing) were parental guidance and instant family. Lighthearted and funny are the way to go, so any more like that appreciated Wink

Before I saw your latest message, OP, I was going to say Deadpool, but maybe not 😁

Definitely the Jumanjis, Paddingtons, Bo Rap, the Cornetto trilogy, Skyfall etc.
